I discovered this brand on the Dialicious channel… Not a fan at first of the overly aggressive approach in terms of communication, I let myself get carried away by the ecological message on the drama of plastic in the oceans. You just have to zap from time to time to see images as horrible as they are desperate. What can we say about this Awake Concept La Bleue? Simply that it uses - I think - on purpose an ultra-recognizable design, notably from the Rolex Submariner, to make us think about the need to recycle plastic and therefore produce less of it! The whole point of this watch lies in the message it conveys and to which I contribute by having bought it. The paradox of an all-plastic watch - a piece of crap for many watch lovers - is fascinating in many ways.
