The brand Nomos Glashütte was founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner in Glashütte, Germany. Photographer and computer enthusiast, the founder created this brand between modernity and tradition two months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. His vision was to design timepieces that combine traditional mechanical watchmaking with modern design inspired by Bauhaus watches from the 1930s.
In 1991, the brand launched its first collection of 4 watches, designed by Suzanne Gunther: the Nomos Glashütte Ludwig, the Nomos Glashütte Orion, the Nomos Tetra Neomatik and the Nomos Tangente. The combination of movements manufactured in-house and 95% built in the region, a relatively affordable price and a minimalist aesthetic has made this brand take off in the watch world.
The range includes models like the Nomos Club Campus, the Nomos Glashütte Minimatik, the Nomos Glashütte Zürich, the Nomos Glashütte Tangomat Date and the Nomos Glashütte Lux. The Nomos Tangente 41 Update also won the Challenge category at the Geneva Watchmaking Grand Prix (GPHG) in 2018.
The price of Nomos watches sold on the brand's website are evolving between € 1,260 and € 15,800 depending on the models and finishes. Count € 1,300 for a Nomos Glashütte Club Campus and € 12,800 for a Nomos Glashütte Lambda.
Nomos glassworks is an independent brand and produces 20,000 watches per year all models combined. To choose a Nomos Glashütte that best suits you, Dialicious owners' reviews are a valuable resource for evaluating each of the different models through real customer experience. Nomos is part of the Ranking of best german watch brands.

The Sinn brand was created in 1961 by the visionary pilot and watchmaker Helmut Sinn in Frankfurt, Germany. Helmut Sinn was a World War II fighter pilot and survived several plane crashes. He used this experience to design shock and vibration resistant watches for German Air Force pilots and soldiers.
Additionally, the Sinn brand was the first to use helium for commercial diving watches, providing greater safety for professional divers. The Sinn brand is also known for working with NASA to develop watches for use in space. The range includes models like the Sinn 556, the Sinn EZM 3, the Sinn U1, the Sinn 103 ST, the Sinn 104 ST and the Sinn U50.
Prices of new Sinn watches evolve regularly and differ depending on the model. Most cost between € 1,500 and € 3,000 depending on the finishes. Price differences can be significant between the brand's different collections. For example, the price of a Sinn 556 fluctuates between € 1,325 € and € 1,474 and the Sinn 365 chronographs oscillate between € 2,390 and € 2,865. The second-hand market is also an opportunity to look at to buy a Sinn cheaper than on the brand's website.
Sinn is an independent brand and produces around 14,000 watches per year, all models combined. To choose the Sinn that best suits you, The Dialicious owners’ reviews are a valuable resource for evaluating the different models through the real experience of owners, like this review of the Sinn 556, one of the brand's flagship models. Sinn is one of the most popular german watch brands.
