I waited a year to buy this Aquascaphe Blue Gilt. From the first Baltic communication materials, I was immediately won over by its neo-vintage design and was really looking forward to putting it on my wrist. I was not disappointed.
It looks like it was made for adventure, but at the same time, it has that chic thing that goes with everything. Basically, it's the perfect watch for those who want style without having to worry too much. It was a real favorite for me.
It was clearly the visual that attracted me before the specs (which remain very honorable).
Today, it is one of the watches I wear the most.

A confirmed favorite

The brand Baltic was created in 2017 during a Kickstarter campaign by Etienne Malec and his associates in Paris, France. Inspired by the aesthetics of watches from the 1940s, this brand pays homage to &Eacute;tienne's father, a great fan of watches, photography and vintage automobiles. The name of the brand Baltic is also a tribute to the Polish origins of his family.
Their ambition is to create timeless watches, to be worn and kept for future generations. Here is one of my 2022 favorites, Bought in a numbered Blue edition, I literally fell in love with the photo, Titanium case, dimensions, dial, index hands, domed glass, there was only one detail that I didn't like, the bracelet, in fact it's not my style. I put it directly on Nato at first, then on engineer steel. and indeed, the steel bracelet would suit it very well, however you have to find one, and if possible with the end links but Baltic does not offer it yet. Otherwise the watch is perfect, precisely no false notes.

Aquascaphe Titanium, Almost too perfect

Having discovered the brand on Kickstarter, I completely fell in love with this Aquascaphe Bluegilt model in the neovintage diver style. 
It is the perfect toolwatch that can follow you everywhere with its tropic. It can gain in elegance with the vintage rice grain bracelet.

In all circumstances

When I discovered the Baltic brand during the presentation of the Aquascaphe, I hesitated for a long time to buy the black and cream version. As time went by, the desire for the latter faded until the day I saw this SB01 version with a steel bezel! I literally fell under its spell. Its simplicity, its execution, no date, 12-hour steel bezel with a beautiful brushed finish, its precision, a good lume, make it in my eyes an almost perfect "daily". It has never left me since, I do absolutely everything with it. The highlight of this acquisition was the purchase of a steel bracelet that fits it like a glove in my eyes, instead of the original Tropic.

Baltic Aquascaphe SB01

A Baltic in my size (41mm for my 18cm wrist) to complete my young collection with a diving watch, I rushed to the release (at the time in limited edition) At first not convinced by the design (large index - dial quite term) But finally I love it and I wear it a lot. It is very comfortable (light titanium case) and it goes very well with my clothes often navy blue, black, petrol blue .... Hyper precise: +3 to 5s / day good surprise for a movement M 9039

Baltic Aquascaphe watch with cream index arrived in my collection after an exchange with an enthusiast who may recognize himself (thanks again for these photos). Simple and effective watch! Ideal for those who want a watch with a vintage look but the robustness of a modern watch.

Vintage Diver

I was looking for a French watch, reliable and precise with a vintage style. This watch turned out to be much more than that! After a thorough search I decided to visit the discreet Baltic boutique in Paris, I had a great time and enjoyed a customer experience worthy of the great houses. I love this watch, I wear it in any circumstance, it is comfortable, I like its domed glass and its blue background, its Japanese mechanics are very precise. It is the only one that accompanies me when it comes to diving into the water in the summer or going to the swimming pool.

My best friend

I have owned this Baltic Aquascaphe for a year and a half now. I don't part with it anymore, I wear it daily and I am absolutely delighted with it. Its proportions are ideal and it is very robust and gives you confidence when you wear it daily.

I was seduced by its design and its proportions which are close to vintage divers with the bonus of the reliability of modern watches.

A good alternative when the budget cannot reach the big watchmaking houses.

The ideal toolwatch

For the past 5 years, I have been passionate about watches and I recently purchased the Baltic Aquascaphe in its gilt blue color. I discovered my love for diving watches a few years ago and since then, I have been looking for the next watch that can accompany my everyday adventures and that can stay on my wrist without any fear on vacation. Unfortunately, my limited budget does not always allow me to invest in high-end watches. That is why I was delighted to discover the Baltic Aquascaphe, a diving watch that has nothing to envy to the competition in this price range. Although the movement is not the best, I was won over by its vintage design that is reminiscent of diving watches from the 60s. Ultimately, the Baltic Aquascaphe combines vintage style and functionality at an affordable price, making it a great option for young watch enthusiasts.

The beginning of the passion for divers

Pretty Diver with a retro look, with a contained diameter with a double domed glass that increases the "bathyscaphe porthole" side. Dial and crown with navy blue reflections that capture the sun outdoors, but a little dull indoors. Very pleasant to wear with its rice grain bracelet or its rubber bracelet. Average precision.
