Well proportioned watch: diameter of 39mm for a thickness of 11.90mm. Water resistance of 200m, Miyota 9039 movement. This watch is an excellent ToolWatch to wear every day in all conditions. This with a very interesting quality-price ratio! It is one of my favorite watches in my collection.

The brand Baltic was created in 2017 during a Kickstarter campaign by Etienne Malec and his associates in Paris, France. Inspired by the aesthetics of watches from the 1940s, this brand pays homage to &Eacute;tienne's father, a great fan of watches, photography and vintage automobiles. The name of the brand Baltic is also a tribute to the Polish origins of his family.
Their ambition is to create timeless watches, to be worn and kept for future generations. Compressor diving watch, retro style, magnificent dark blue dial, almost black when there is not much light, but very rich in variations depending on exposure to the sun. Superb dimensions (39mm) very balanced, I find the shape of the case perfect, it is entirely brushed, except on the chamfers of the bezel and the horns where it is very finely polished. The adjustment crown is screwed but the 2nd crown at 2 o'clock for adjusting the flange is not. Superb rice grain steel bracelet, quite thin, too bad there is a little play on the buckle once closed. Precise Miyota movement, between plus 2 and plus 5 seconds per day for my copy. Very warm welcome at the showroom in Paris.

BALTIC AQUASCAPHE DUAL CROWN

The Baltic Aquascaphe dual crown... This reference was released with 3 models where I hesitated to take the plunge. However, I bought this Baltic 5th anniversary the day it was released, it is a limited edition of 200 copies sold during the day.

It has marked features of the 80s with a fairly marked green and purple, distancing itself from the usual sobriety of the Baltic. The watch also came with two tropical bracelets, the green suits it much better.
It is a fun watch to wear in the summer, less fun to wear in other seasons, in fact it is hard to match it with warmer clothes.

Refocusing my collection on smaller diameters, the internal bezel makes the watch bigger than it is (39mm), in fact, the internal bezel enlarges the opening compared to an aquascaphe.
