Bell & Ross BR 03-92 Owner Review : Fair, functional and readable

Every collection must start with a first watch. I acquired this one in February 2012 with my first savings. I was timidly discovering watchmaking at that time thanks to a friend from my class. After trying different models with him, notably at Bell & Ross, this BR 03-92 seemed to me at the time to be a very good choice. It was my only wrist companion for 5 years. It fulfilled all the roles: sporty, "casual", even sometimes dressed up. Its qualities are undeniable: perfect readability, an original square case, an ETA 28-24 movement that no longer has to prove itself, robust and quite precise. A huge variety of bracelets (rubber, nylon, leather and even steel). Its main flaw for me will remain its large size, not suitable for all wrists. The 42 mm with square case has a very imposing rendering. As time passes, tastes evolve, sometimes I still tell myself that if I had to do it again, I would have made another choice. A smaller diameter perhaps. Or a round case? It doesn't matter in the end, because when I put it back on my wrist I find that emotion of the first time, in 2012, when I saw it and tried it for the first time. In short, I can't part with it. In the end, isn't that what matters most? The emotion, the attachment.
