Bell & Ross BR 03 Owner Review : Extravagant, cool and fun

Still with the aim of having very simple, readable watches where information can be obtained at a glance, in 2019 I fell for the Bell & Ross BR0392 Full Lum. A bit out of nowhere, this limited series of 250 copies sold exclusively in Bell & Ross stores appealed to me instantly. You will tell me it is one more 03 and yet it has something that the others do not have, the bracelet entirely filled with superluminova which makes that in broad daylight its color is pistachio green but as soon as the environment darkens immediately it is a real flashlight. What attracted me is this fun side. I wanted a complementary model to my collection and it turns out that this one lent itself well to it, sporty look or gadget according to some it can be worn with any outfit the simple fact of changing its bracelet and it transforms into a chic watch. I was looking for something new, and I had a recognizable watch there, which did not exist elsewhere for the time being. BR had just gone off the beaten track with this strange model while preserving its identity, readability, functionality and once again kept its promise. As for the mechanism... a BR CAL 302, in other words a cased selita, but who cares, it tells the time, in 20 years there will always be a watchmaker capable of repairing it and clearly I am not buying a movement but a design and an aeronautical inspiration. In terms of reliability, never any problems, no after-sales service suffered with this model. The RDM is quite low but having several watches I have gotten into the habit of resetting them each time I change them. This is something I like about cars, having to reset the time before use. For other specific features, it has a dial that is fully tinted with C3 superluminova in order to have the same color as the strap, the numbers and indexes are applied to the dial and the hands without superluminova in order to allow contrast for optimal reading at night. To conclude, I can say that it is a nice model but not the one you buy as a first BR it is complementary for someone who already has several watches although it perfectly reflects the BR DNA.
