Mühle Glashütte is a little-known brand in France but which has a very good reputation in Germany. Established in the cradle of German watchmaking, this manufacturer makes its own in-house movements. For this Panova model (which is the entry-level model of the men's collection), Mühle has chosen to fit a Sellita SW200 movement. Yes, but (because there is a but) they decided to remove the original regulator balance module to integrate an in-house model nicknamed 'woodpeacker'. This gives a characteristic ticking sound a little more pronounced than usual and allows a drift of +4 seconds per day (no Mühle watch is late, they are all set in advance to six positions). The dial of this red version is to die for and perfect for sunny days where all you do is play with the reflections. Despite the 40mm of the case, the dial opening is quite large and allows extremely easy readability of the time with the presence of white rectangular hands! Like any nautical watch (Mühle is a brand dedicated to sailing) it has a correct water resistance of 100m with a screw-down crown! In short, an excellent watch for beautiful summer days. The only downside is its original cooked Nato-type strap which does not match the watch at all.

A colorful dial!

I am more than delighted with this watch. In titanium it is light and easy to forget. The radio-controlled solar quartz module allows you to take it in the morning without having to worry about the setting. Moreover, for a radio-controlled watch, the dial is not overloaded with many useless functions. Its electronic crown allows you to select another time zone in one second. Which ultimately makes it a perfect GMT! And what about the finish. Zaratsu polishing and blued indexes, it exudes quality, much more than on Swiss standard quarter-digit watches.

The Casio Oceanus OCW-S6000 watch is among the top of the range offered by Casio. Little known in France, this watch seduces with its features (bluetooth, multiband6, tough solar, ...) while benefiting from specifications that are only found in the big names: finesse, polishing, mass distribution, precision, materials.

In addition to being exclusive, its very "KAWAI" look does not leave you indifferent. Its low thickness (8mm) and its weight (lightened thanks to titanium) are surprising.. Top of the range of the top of the range from Casio, this unpretentious watch has little to envy the Swiss competition.

Perfect mix of technology, elegance and watchmaking

I got this Casio Oceanus JDM (Japan Domestic Market) in Japan in 2023 after discovering it on the internet, so it is not widely available in Europe. I find it has a modern and casual look and it has a very surprising quality-price ratio. The proportions are modern and not at all excessive, the transitions between polished and brushed surfaces are numerous on both the case and the bracelet. They are also found on the indexes which seem to float above the dial. Finally, we find this blue in the dial, deep and flamboyant as soon as the sun comes out. There are also blue reflections all around the glass which are quite astonishing and difficult to capture in a photo.
The movement is powered by solar energy and the watch sets the time by connecting to a satellite network or by connecting to the phone's Bluetooth.
Personally, I find it to be the ultimate chic sports watch. Perfect for going out in town, or to take to the office. This is actually my first choice on Monday morning if I don't have time to set an automatic watch.
