Double whammy for this Promaster Marine Super Titanium

I am a salesperson and I am faced in my activity with a particularly long sales cycle to congratulate myself on having succeeded in a contract after two years of work I decided to give myself a little gift I don't really know why I thought of a watch
I didn't have a very good image of watchmaking having already had a manager about fifteen years ago who was very keen on watches and one or two colleagues too but the latter used it mainly to practice class snobbery by promoting intimacy with very wealthy customers = Yuck!
However, while browsing YouTube I was very surprised to see how popular this passion was and even if some cannot help a falsely detached elitism
And there I am completely immersed in this fever I am the type to look at a lot of tests and articles when I buy equipment (photo for example) and there in watchmaking there was something to do
At the beginning of this research I stumbled upon this brand which offered a reading of the time so poetic and original in the following days I was aware of having a very good purchase opportunity on a Dutch OUTLET site it did not take more to make me dive into this exciting world
It was the first of a long list it gave me and still gives me beautiful emotions and it regularly comes on my wrist to remind me that I am generally very happy with myself


First time ever

And it will certainly not be the last one, Citizen really offers timepieces with one of the best RPQ on the market
The titanium of this watch really seduced me, the comfort it induces due to its lightness on the wrist is fantastic
The color of the bezel gives it a maritime and vintage look, the brightness of the dial and the combination of the silver of the indexes and the blue itself varying from more or less dark depending on the brightness and another obvious asset of this watch
Really a very good surprise at a price defying all competition on titanium of this quality


My first Promaster

A great opportunity this little Venetian equipped with the GMT nh34 movement from Seiko
Its freshness, its vintage and classy look make it very important in my collection
It makes me forget my unconditional taste for Arabic numerals and seduced me with its harmonious indexes its compactness 39 mm in diameter and its lug to lug which makes it easy to wear even in dress mode
I found it at the time in 2022 at 470 euros which made it ultra competitive but today it is at 625 euros catalog price and the NH34 movement is widely distributed among other micro brands which offer very good quality products at lower prices


A Japanese heart with Italian elegance

In July 2022 I discovered this watch on sale on the Occarat website. At first I liked it, being quite a novice, I was at the beginning of my watchmaking fever and at the time I let myself be seduced very easily. 
But after more than a year it is one of my favorite watches. I wear it very often on everything since I replaced the bracelet which greatly reduces its bling-bling style. 
The finishes are of good quality, the colors go very well either casually or more casually. 
And of course the 500m withstands the waves of Lacanau very well. 


Summer discovery

I immediately fell for the blue dial associated with this beautiful bronze case, the Ocaresque promo finished conquering me
and not a summer goes by without this North Sea 1967 coming to challenge the waves of Porges and the 32 ATM are sometimes not superfluous given the strength of the Gironde swell.
One of my first in my young collection, a resistant diver with a bronze case that matures with oxidation causing a variation in the colors of the case in total adequacy with the variations of the dial which goes from oceanic blue to deep night blue depending on the light
The only downside is an aesthetic choice not allowing a good reading of the bezel sublimely compensated by the harmony of the sound of it during rotation


Oceanic lightning strike!

Seduced at first by the unique look and by the ocean protection project, I fell for this very original green turtle
Unfortunately its exceptional moon and its magnificent design do not compensate for its weight and its thickness, too uncomfortable for me

A discovery that I am very proud of, this Oculus range from an Italian micro brand Pantheum Roma particularly satisfies me
Superb design with this project to pay tribute to Roman architecture, by offering a piece with a definitively Italian DNA and spirit.
The dial of this "Automatic Oculus" is directly inspired by the vault of the Pantheon in Rome. The design of the watch dials is inspired by the marble used inside the Pantheon. Available in five colors - Janus, Minerva, Neptune, Pluto and Venus.


Have me!

Bought at the very beginning of my watch fever in a famous Parisian boutique, I was seduced by its pleasant face, its oceanic dial, its vintage look, its CELITA Elaboré movement, its bracelet combination (although I was only delivered the silicone one) 
It accompanied me on my last trip to Vietnam and Taiwan, its compactness and reliability give this Circula its place in my podium of watch brands and I hope in the medium term to acquire another model of this fantastic brand 


German quality

I immediately fell in love with the vintage look and the very attractive price (thank you Dealabs)
This watch is of high quality, its style goes perfectly with different outfits
I wear it quite often, its readability is perfect, I love the style of the hands and the inex, the leather strap is of very good quality, the whole thing is very comfortable


a dressed diver

I bought my Circula Aquasport II after discovering this brand resurrected by the founder's grandson. I really appreciated the retro-modern style and the little details that clearly give a plus to this timepiece. The watch was delivered with two straps, the classic rubber and the rice grain metal. The change is also very easy. The automatic movement is a Sellita SW 200 that does its job. The crown is screwed, as it should be for a diver. I particularly appreciate the exceptional brightness of the superluminova which is even applied to the brand logo on the crown. The watch is comfortable and a pleasant companion for every day. However, I regret the adjustment of the movement which is certainly within the tolerance of Sellita, but all the same, it easily advances 10 seconds/day. I would also have liked a metal bracelet with a slightly more qualitative aspect like a clasp with additional security. I really like this watch that I wear very often.

The brand Ollech &amp; Wajs was created in 1956 by Joseph Ollech and Albert Wajs in Zurich, Switzerland. Albert was responsible for the design, engineering and manufacturing of the watches, while Joseph handled marketing and retail sales.
