Big big crush!
Fan of the DOXA look, this 39mm model was released in 2024. I jumped on it as soon as I could financially.

why? because it's impossible for me to have 42.5mm (sub300 or sub300T) because it doesn't suit me, even if a lot of people try to say that it looks smaller once on the wrist, I can't get over the fact that a 42.5mm remains a 42.5mm. So imagine my enthusiasm when the 39mm model came out.

Since then it's been osmosis, how thin it is!!!! I measure it at 10.9mm!
I took the sharkhunter for daily wear and it suits me. The orange color of the "professional" I would bring it with a bracelet if necessary.

I'm not going to write the story of doxa here, but in terms of legitimacy there are worse things.

it goes everywhere at work, on weekends, on vacation, on the road... everywhere.

I sincerely think that I could do without all the other watches in my small "collection"

DOXA SUB 200T 39mm

here is my Airman 36 GMT. and I might as well say it right away now that I have it I don't understand why it took me so long to decide to buy it. It has so many criteria that I like in a watch such as:
- the professional side
- readability
- the thinness of the case.
- the date
- the monster strap side.
- the gmt that I missed so much.
- 


GLYCINE AIRMAN 36 GMT

Small 38mm watch and rather thin 12mm with the domed glass as it should be, this wolbrook / douglas (strange this double name) does more than the job.

The simplicity is disconcertingly effective. It is a field indeed, but its play of hands its skindiver type case and especially its small second which is not one, differentiates it from other fields in my humble opinion.
Indeed, at 6 o'clock is the morning / evening indicator, yes like an Explo2, seriously and it is for this small detail that I acquired it.

The Tropic bracelet from wolbrook is the best of all, in my opinion. The typical pattern of Tropic bracelets goes back a long way to the level between the lugs, it gives it a much more qualitative aspect.

Finally, the quartz caliber with the second hand much more fluid than a normal quartz gives it this mechanical side "visually" without which I would not have bought it.

Wolbrook / Douglas field quartz

Fine, precise, with a beautiful finish, skin diver case with a dial with large iconic numbers. I could not resist buying this SEESTERN even if some will say that it is only a pale copy of the SeaQ. It represents in my eyes one if not the most beautiful design for a diver, which by the way does not belong to any watchmaking house. This is what pushed me to buy it.
in two three sentences:
the dial and especially the applied numbers have a superb rendering.
it is a strap watch, everything suits it. leather steel rubber.
its size is perfect in my eyes, dimensions of the model that I have 39mm in diameter 12mm yes only 12mm thick it sits on the wrist like no other, at this price level it is just crazy
The steel bracelet is I find (for the price always) of EXCELLENT quality. With the micro-adjustment clasp missing from too many brands, even luxury ones.
Caliber level, nothing. In one month of daily wear, the watch has a drift of 23 seconds. Amazing I tell you.
In short, I'm crazy about it.

SEESTERN S435 a tribute or not!

In two words pretty little colorful casio and very glossi I did not expect it at all. A little candy like many vintage casio. On the other hand I do not think that it can be worn every day unlike a resin f91 because the chrome of the case is all the same light.

When I discovered the Baltic brand during the presentation of the Aquascaphe, I hesitated for a long time to buy the black and cream version. As time went by, the desire for the latter faded until the day I saw this SB01 version with a steel bezel! I literally fell under its spell. Its simplicity, its execution, no date, 12-hour steel bezel with a beautiful brushed finish, its precision, a good lume, make it in my eyes an almost perfect "daily". It has never left me since, I do absolutely everything with it. The highlight of this acquisition was the purchase of a steel bracelet that fits it like a glove in my eyes, instead of the original Tropic.

Baltic Aquascaphe SB01

Literally falling in love when it came out, I managed to find one "like new" on lbc. I wear it very often 3 or 4 days/week. This since I found the bracelet that suits it best for me... a rubber with adapted endlinks that properly fits the case. The original bonklip seems a bit too dressed up, vintage and light which contrasts too much for me with the solid, stocky and robust side of the model. From now on it fills me and fulfills its mission wonderfully. Many people notice it, always in a positive way.

As the title indicates, this watch is a reissue of a legend from the Seiko catalog, the 1964 single-pusher chronograph. I didn't know this chronograph when this watch was presented in 2020 and what I liked about this new product was the combination of the chic/refined look of the Presage range and the sporty look with this black bezel contrasting with this beautiful gray/cream dial with several textures. I like the dial/index/hand combination that sparkles everywhere and all the time. If you're a fan of reflection, dark!

I weigh my words when I say that this combination would have its place in the GS range.

The unpleasant points, however: the original strap is, let's face it, more than questionable, so as with most of my watches, I replaced it with a rubber one. And the diameter of 41.3mm which didn't necessarily bother me in 2020 but today I would rather opt for a 39 / 40mm.

Looking for an automatic watch for work (office).
I fell under the spell of this citizen which combines absolutely all the criteria to know for this search.
An automatic, in steel, with a good bracelet, a date, moderate diameter and above all, thin 10.5mm. It has its little effect with an "air" of Rolex op or to be more consistent of grand Seiko.
Brand under the radar and underestimated.
A perceived quality more than positive this watch gives much more than what it costs. The 10atm the precision (+3/day) and especially the duratect coating, bluffing, are the cherries on this beautiful little cake.

Citizen jdm nb1050 daily parfaite 

I am sharing with you my 20-year-old battery watch (purchased in 2003) which was my only watch for almost 10 years.

A Seiko KINETIC whose hands are still as amazing despite the years. I invite you to go see it on youtube for those who don't know. Only one battery change in 2019.

The finishes are all crazy, whether it's the applied indexes, the two finishes of the dial or the flange with its luminescent studs that still light up my eyes as if they were new. Everything absolutely everything is of good quality, this watch still exudes the quality of a job well done. Its finesse, 9 mm makes it an almost perfect daily despite its 41 mm diameter.

The original steel bracelet is also very correct and I replaced it with a rubber to give my watch a new lease of life, a new lease of life. Finally, it is the only watch with an integrated bracelet in my collection and I think/hope that it will remain so for a long time.

SEIKO ARCTURA KINETIC AUTO RELAY

Small 34mm Judex watch without pretensions with manual winding that I have had for 25 years and the death of my grandfather.

What more can I say except that it still has its little effect when I wear it despite its 70 years. My only real "dress" in my humble collection.

Very beautiful blue dial on metallic hands and indexes, the rendering is very beautiful especially in full sunlight where it makes even more. 
This 42mm on a tonneau dial and the most beautiful effect with its integrated bracelet. 
Equipped with the MIYOTA 8210 movement, it offers a RDM of 42 hours. Waterproof to 10AT, it remains a good alternative to the Tsuyosa released a year later but has a more interesting price than the latter.
