This steel date is a watch with two faces. Indeed, the bracelet you put on it will give you a rather dress watch (on its black bracelet with a logoed folding clasp made in France) or rather casual on its integrated steel bracelet in Milanese mesh. It's up to you to make your choice when purchasing 🙂. The watch itself gives off a certain poetry due to the softness of its round hands and the second hand brings a feeling of calm. I regret the absence of luminova but which apparently is not applicable on this type of hands. The dial is called Sandwich with the date inlay at 6 o'clock in one of the 12 holes that adorn the dial. Reading the time by the round hands requires a little practice but nothing too bad. Only the precision is not perfect when adjusting, which is not the primary goal but to set the time correctly it will be advisable to put it on a quarter to be as "accurate" as possible; However, here it is the aesthetics that prevail and that suits me well! The case, waterproof to 5atm, is worked with openings and openwork horns which are of the most beautiful effect. For my part I really like the brushed bezel which contrasts with the rest of the case which is polished. On the mechanism side, we return a myota 9015 with a decorated mass. Namely that the watches are set on a delta of 14s (-7/+7) which is the max on this movement. In short it is a superb watch at less than 1ke, made by a young Frenchman Nicolas, I am happy to be part of his adventure (PS all the pieces are in limited editions ...)

Dress Watch et casual

Citizen has relaunched the crystron model with a limited edition only for the Italian market. (3 variations, black dial shown here, green dial on black pvd and blue dial). The watch sports the 70's style of the crystron released for the first time in Italy (hence the limited edition in this country, 750 pieces per variation with numbering on the back). The career is fine and pleasant and can go as well to a woman as to a man. In broad terms: Mineral glass, 5atm, eco drive 6 months in the dark, day-date, 3 circles drawn on the glass. I particularly appreciate the lightness of the watch, the Milanese mesh bracelet facilitating the adjustment as well as the crown almost completely integrated into the case. At less than 200e this product is great!

Citizen Crystron 70's Style

citizen seris 8 NA1015-81Z 830 This watch has an incredible aesthetic and build. The black PVD is very well made and does not easily get scratches. Citizen has integrated a brand new movement into this first version of the series 8 marketed outside the Japanese plains. Anti-magnetic work is also carried out allowing it not to suffer the impacts of our everyday electrical devices such as phones, tablets, etc. All the charm of this watch is concentrated on its 3-layer dial, one of which is mother-of-pearl covered with a lattice. The gold-griffed indexes cling to it, just like these two openwork sword hands. Depending on the angle of your wrist, the reflections will always be different and it is this point that makes it a particularly beautiful and well-finished watch (citizen quality). This watch is both dressed and casual, allowing you to juggle between styles while keeping your timepiece. Finally, note a precision of +6s/day on my model or Citizen communicates on a drift of +10/day

first awake automatic watch for the young french brand. the overall concept of this mission to earth is just awesome. the finishes of the watches are excellent with a special mention for the bracelet and its magnificent pin buckle! the integration of the blockchain in the glass is also a technical feat but also a great step forward in the customer experience and product security part!

Here is a rather rare model, 
Indeed it is the first eco-drive model 
Presented in 1974 by Citizen, a prototype that was never marketed at the time, 
The first marketed model was released in 1976. 
In 2020 Citizen re-released this model in commemoration on the occasion of the anniversary of its marketing in Italy (which was at the time the first country to sell eco-drive models in Europe). 
It is a limited edition of 750 copies. 
And of which I am the happy owner, another piece of history on the wrist.

Citizen first Eco-drive 

I really like the Citizen brand, which makes many nice and reliable models at low prices. This one is powered by a solar Eco-drive that ensures precision and autonomy. But it's its very original look that seduced me. A crown in an unusual position, a 60 at 12 o'clock, a big black bezel and a touch of orange to brighten up the dial. I would add a comfortable rubber strap. The only downside is that the date window is strangely planted on the 3. It's not great. In conclusion, it's an unpretentious but pretty and pleasant watch.
