This version is a 42 a little big for me and difficult to find in dark green gradient dial. Custom-made Xamlam bracelet won in the channel competition

I wanted this mecaquartz rallygraph only for its aesthetics. I love the shape of the chronographs which, when viewed under a magnifying glass, look like wooden deck blades on a boat. The blue reflection around the glass is great. The clasp of the Milanese bracelet is not great and not very secure. The second hand creates an illusion with its frequency, but I don't activate it.

Bronze diving watch 20 atm, 42 mm and only 10.6 mm thick. Selita sw200 movement. Steel diving bezel, superb quality of clicks, no play. Blue dial with submariner style indexes and hands, superluminova. Blue ruber strap with bronze buckle.

Glycine Combat Sub 42 in bronze

A big fan of the Combat Sub glycines, this bronze GL0242 offers us a more "dress watch" side of the usual military diver.

It manages to keep the attributes that make the success of the Combat Sub (case design, indexes with 24-hour reminder, feeling of robustness, perfect visibility, finesse of the watch) and sublimates them in a blue and gold reinterpretation that offers us a watch of absolute class.

The bronze case, which is neither too big nor too small so that the beautiful patina does not take over the watch in general over time.
The lums that are simply incredible, the watch just asks to shine brightly as soon as a little darkness shows its nose (with a date window outline that shines, magnificent)
The discreet but so tasteful gradient on the dial that oscillates between shades of blue, perfectly chosen blue with a combo of dial - indexes / hands - bezel - case - bracelet - buckle colors that I find simply perfect. 
The 120 click bezel with perfect noise and feel.

I find this watch sublime and coupled with the robustness of the Combat Sub this makes it a major watch in a collection.

The little detail that will always fascinate me and makes me smile every time is its way of capturing the lights at the end of the day which create an aura on the dial and plays of colors that transcend the watch.

A little-known side of Combat Sub

I was looking for a diver and I found it. This glycine has filled me since I received it. The manufacturing quality is immediately obvious when you put it on your wrist. The Sellita SW200 that powers it makes it a reliable and robust watch. Speaking of robustness, it is waterproof to 300m. Easy for this summer!!! The unidirectional bezel is well proportioned and this 39mm version fits perfectly on my wrist. It comes with a steel bracelet but I prefer it on NATO. I'm attaching some photos 😉

My first automatic mechanical watch. To start my watch collection, I wanted to own a low-cost diver. This bronze Glycine reveals a real robustness which, matched with a nato strap, has everything of a sea adventurer! Its deep blue smoked dial echoes its 20 atm water resistance and reminds us that it is made for diving. Two additional assets, the qualitative unidirectional crown and the readability of the indexes whose luminescence is similar to the torches of diving suits. An unbeatable quality-price ratio for this diver.
