The almost perfect watch! You can do anything with it! It is robust, I love the brushed steel, I feel like the watch is impossible to scratch. The falsely patinated indexes are magnificent, the luminescent material works wonderfully and for a long time! Reading the time couldn't be easier, the NATO strap is comfortable, the little touches of leather add that little something extra. The 80-hour power reserve is very appreciable. The hands are basic but very effective, and the slightly domed sapphire crystal is anti-reflective, which is very pleasant! There is also a stop second, which is not always the case on watches in this price range. I absolutely love everything about this watch that can be worn in any circumstance. With its iconic design, its features, and its history, I find that the price is really more than justified! It’s hard to do better, for me the Khaki Field is really Hamilton’s centerpiece (with the Ventura which we hear a little less about). The only downside, if we have to find one, is its water resistance to only 50 meters, certainly it’s not a watch whose purpose is to go in the water, but a water resistance to 100m would have really been the icing on the cake.

I bought this watch when it came out. I was going to buy a classic machine-made steel khaki, and it came out. It was a real favorite.

I recommend this model and Hamilton without reservation. I can't find any flaws in it based on my use and expectations, but here are a few points to watch out for:
- 50m water resistance, yes, you won't be able to swim with sharks with it... but you can wash dishes, take a shower, or even go swimming.
- The bronze patinas very quickly and unevenly; you have to like the raw quality of the material.

In short, it ticks all the boxes for me;

Hamilton Khaki field mechanical in 38 mm. I had the beige strap mounted on it, it did not suit me, lack of comfort. I opted for a 2-piece nato which changed everything.
