I am going to part with this pretty watch and I couldn't do it without leaving a review on it.
This watch was my first 'real' watch purchase out of interest and I really liked it.
This Herbelin is simple but so pleasant to wear on a daily basis.
It offers quite ideal dimensions and does not interfere with wearing it at all. It is a very thin watch and you forget it is on your sleeve. Forget it, yes, except when you look at its pretty sunray dial, which has a beautiful effect.
It is a timepiece without many pretensions but ideal for everyday use.

Absolute comfort

Hello everyone.

I am delighted to be able to express my feelings about my Sinn 356 sa flieger II.

This is a watch that was given to me for the birth of my daughter, my friends knew my enthusiasm for this model of pilot's watch and I was going to buy it anyway. How can I tell you how much this watch respects these commitments and how much it lives up to its reputation.

First of all, it is undeniably beautiful. Its diameter of 38.5 is ideal in my opinion. It is not too thick and its weight is just perfect for those who like to feel the presence of their watch without overdoing it.

This version offers a salmon pink dial (copper according to Sinn) guilloché and sunray and its visual impact is very pleasant!

The slightly satin-finished case is very discreet, without overdoing reflections, just what is needed. The sapphire crystal is slightly domed and gives some reflections around the dial that I really appreciate.

Mechanically, it runs perfectly well and is very precise. Well wound, it offers a power reserve of 3 days +, it allows me to easily navigate between my watches and resume without having to reset it. I love it! 

The perceived quality of Sinn is impressive. Everything seems to be ultra robust, the manual winding offers a feeling of precision and robustness of the movement. The start and stop pressures of the chronograph offer a resistance and a "click" that impresses me a little each time. 

The only small negative point that I can expose would come from the folding clasp which had a tendency to create discomfort for me. I never really knew why. I felt an unpleasant friction. I simply ordered a pin on the Sinn website with the same satin appearance as the watch and the 'problem' was resolved very quickly. 

In conclusion, this Sinn 356 sa Flieger is fully up to its reputation and I can only recommend it. This is a great piece to include in a collection, whether you like pilot watches or not.

Solid as a rock

I followed the emergence of the Kuoe brand assiduously and hesitated for a long time to take the plunge and buy it. And then the brand unveiled the Royal Smith model and I decided to take the plunge. 
The watch, in the picture, looks really superb from all angles, but it represents a significant cost and they announced a shipment from Japan within 1 month. I let myself be seized by the urgency of the situation, the watch being out of stock very quickly each time it was restocked and I bought it. All this created in me impatience and high expectations. 

Upon receipt, I discovered a very pretty vintage-style timepiece, very light and of a very modest size (35mm) and the look convinced me relatively. Relatively, because the small one still has a perceived value below my expectations. It is a shame to note the poor quality of the materials and their design. This really harms the overall feeling and I keep telling myself that my Seiko bought for the same price offers so many advantages. The "Grain de riz" bracelet is ultimately not one, the links being welded in groups of 5. The folding clasp has play and makes a clicking sound. The crown is undersized and manual winding is not easy. And what about the oscillating weight that makes a pan noise when it turns. 
In my humble opinion, this watch is absolutely not worth the amount it is offered for and I am disappointed by that. It would have been worth €200 at most for its perceived value. 
Nevertheless, the object is nice and relatively comfortable to wear due to its size and lightness. And to be honest, well, I wear it because it is still very pretty.

Wow! That's the word I said the first time I saw this piece in a photo on the internet.

I find this watch incredible, first of all it's a moon phase (well it's useless but it's pretty), then it's a limited edition (yes Herbelin is prestigious).

Clearly the finishes of this watch are superb, the dial is sunburst, the moon too, the applied indexes are also very beautiful, the small spinel adds a chic side and the patinated bracelet makes it totally unique.

In short I'm a fan of this watch which is in my eyes almost perfect.
