This vintage watch from the Ebarhard & co brand is a classic from the 60s in a rare configuration with its fine hands and especially its gray sunray dial with the most beautiful effect. It has above all a date complication on a red/black disc (even and odd days) with a corrector at 9 o'clock allowing an adjustment of absolute simplicity. This is the particularity of the contograf. The red that is also found on the dial which I must admit is impossible to read in bright sunlight so much the gray has a mirror effect but otherwise what a pleasure to wear this chic and discreet watch. This version also has a steel bracelet which reinforces the sport chic side. A rare and hard to find watch but 100% pleasure

The enchantment of a gray dial

It is impossible to wear a HUBLOT without a little pang in the heart: apart from as a football player or to get noticed, the HUBLOT brand is often a reason for mockery. 
That was my opinion before falling in love with this watch when I was a teenager and which was for me a symbol of chic sport style with the most beautiful effect: a quartz chronograph with a 36mm format and especially this natural rubber strap that smelled of vanilla. 
This watch is perfect for small wrists and it has nothing pretentious but remains sporty and chic with both a folding clasp and a perfect shape. It is MDM GENEVE on its dial, that is to say the 1st version of HUBLOT before becoming the brand that we know. Steel with a smooth bezel marked in black, its 3 counter with a simple date on a white disc at 6 o'clock, ultra light it is forgotten on the wrist. Do not have everyone's watch and remain discreet however with a HUBLOT

A porthole to wear without shame

This MULCO watch is for me the quintessence of the perfect vintage watch with both a sublime patina proving its progressive aging, patinated hands in x-a waterproof "spillman" case characteristic of its time. Indeed the watch with this case allows a waterproofness that is to say to resist humidity but not to put it in water. Last feature and not least the "nipple" pushers that is to say without cap to reinforce the protection of the chronograph movement. The pushers finally cancel the protection of the case.
This watch is therefore for me the perfect example of the vintage watch with very strong aesthetic codes. It is a watch for connoisseurs but without pretensions. Note that the original pushers have often been replaced while it is nevertheless all the beauty of this watch.


The quintessence of vintage

The Autavia 1163 is the automatic model of the HEUER range that embeds the caliber 12 with a GMT module. Offered by HEUER in the early 70s, this watch is typical with its large steel case and especially its dial in multiple colors: the GMT "pepsi" bezel but also its GMT hand and its small red hands in the subdials. This is the kind of GMT watch that not all enthusiasts wear and its "funky" side may confuse some but for those who accept to assume it this watch is endearing with perfect visibility and a very nice presence on the wrist. I recommend this model for anyone looking for a "different" GMT.

In 1975, the brand presented the Chronosplit, a digital chronograph with dual LED and LCD displays, combining digital technology and precision.
