Bronze certainly refers in the collective imagination to the third place of the podium. Very good but can still do better. The IWC that I share here would largely deserve silver, or perhaps gold, but its identity does not call for the nobility of these materials. Its warm bronze with an adventurous patina immediately refers to emotions of travel, exploration like the rest of its characteristics but all in a very fair sobriety. The IWC Sptifire is truly a watch of colors, the bronze with the unspeakable tint, the gold of the hands, the green of the dial and the subtle touch of red of the Spitfire combine wonderfully and constantly play with the ambient light. The leather of its bracelet is also extremely pleasant and its flexibility makes it very appreciable from the first days. The manufacture movement also fulfills the contract and proves to be of very correct precision. Certainly not an ordinary watch, but one that adapts to many ordinary situations, from Sunday hikes to casual days or a touch of daring in more classic outfits.
