First watch I bought for myself (second-hand) after working all summer. I have always been attracted to military chronographs like the Type 20 used in armies in the 50s/60s but out of budget. Then I caught sight of the Longines BigEye, a week later it was on my wrist. I was a little afraid of its 41mm but in the end it fits very well despite my small wrist. I mounted it on a sand-colored 2-piece NATO (original on leather) which suits it wonderfully and recalls the military spirit of the watch. The only drawbacks I could find are its excessive thickness and its rather weak lume. For me, it is one of the most beautiful chronographs in its price range.
