Longines Heritage Classic Owner Review : Discreet, elegant and consistent

After testing the silver dial model in store, I thought it would be even more beautiful in black. It was while searching on the internet that I came across this model and it was an instant favorite. I waited 4 months and a move to Canada to acquire it and I am delighted. I was looking above all for sobriety for my first watch at a price above €1000 and with this model I am served. The proportions are perfect for me, very little literature on the dial and the small second adds a lot of charm, classic certainly but effective. The specificity of this model, the sector dial gives a "vintage" side of the most beautiful effect in my opinion and that is what made the difference for me with the Flagship model of the brand. Although it is not the most important for me, the movement is a real step forward compared to my other watches and the 72-hour power reserve is very comfortable. Finally, if I had to mention a negative point it would be the strap on the model I bought, a rugged leather strap that doesn't go very well with the watch but I have since purchased the rice grain steel strap which fits it perfectly, I am rediscovering the watch and love it even more.
