After a long search for my first and only mechanical watch, I chose the Club Campus 737 from Nomos. Its rounded contours, generous dial and little touch of color make it a perfect choice for me. This watch is not flashy, but as soon as you look at the finishes, you can't help but notice the attention to detail and the quality of the finishes (especially in terms of the caliber that you can see through a transparent case back). The slightly long lugs put some people off, but personally I don't see any problem with that, the watch fits properly on my wrist. The strap provided with the watch is very pretty. I am fully satisfied.

The brand Nomos Glash&uuml;tte was founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner in Glash&uuml;tte, Germany. Photographer and computer enthusiast, the founder created this brand between modernity and tradition two months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. Want to attract attention? It's easy with the California dial of my Club Campus. Its 38.5 millimeter diameter is generously proportioned and will fit any wrist. This timepiece always looks stunning — with a suit, while traveling around the world or dancing the night away. And only diamonds are harder than its sapphire crystal. I can only recommend getting the optional transparent caseback as the Nomos manufacture movements offer a truly beautiful finish that our Swiss friends are unable to produce at this price ;-)

A little gem that I managed to find, a special edition for the Asian market to celebrate the U as a bond. This vital letter in the name of this special model means "Unity", but it also phonetically evokes the English "You". And just as we all have multiple facets, sometimes even opposite, the dial of this watch dares the contrast of colors that is accentuated by a light touch of rose gold. Its 38.5 mm diameter case houses the hand-wound Alpha caliber. This contrast of the black dial with this Californian numeral half Arabic half Roman in ivory color circled by a rose gold line that echoes the hands.
