In my manufacture collection, I wanted to get away from black. That's how I chose the Club Sport Neomatik Polar. It's my first blue watch that nods to the datejust. This German watch is 37mm in terms of dial and has an Oyster-type bracelet and a sunray dial. In the sun, you can see all the shades of blue. It's thin and light. I find it more dressy than sporty. The luminescence is blue like the datejust. It's a watch that fits well into my collection. It's refined and attractive. We have here a 95% original manufacture movement from Glashütte. The only downside is its clasp that quickly shows scratches. But for its price I'm not going to complain. I highly recommend it for those who want to start in watchmaking.

German quality

The DateJust is, in my opinion, the jewel of my manufacture collection. It sits among my other watches. It fell from the sky. One day, I received a call from my brother who had accompanied his friend to the airport. It was the beginning of the Ukraine/Russia War. He had lost a lot of money on cryptocurrencies. And to bail himself out, he wanted to sell his Datejust 2021 and a Seamaster straight from Korea. He offered them to me and the decision was quick (5 minutes flat). On a whim, I decided to take the Rolex without thinking too much. And, I must tell you that I do not regret it. Its configuration is complete: fluted bezel and Jubilee bracelet. As for the case, it is the historic 36mm size. I love the comfort this watch provides. I think it is the watch of my life.

The Jewel in the Crown

The Omega Speedmaster Moonwatch is the iconic watch full of history. I was told that it had gone to the moon. I really like their new bracelet that is thinner all the way to the clasp. I chose the sapphire case back so I could admire the movement. I find it hypnotic. I also really enjoy winding it up every morning before leaving for the office. I use the stopwatch complication a lot, which allows me to calculate the time lost in Parisian traffic jams. When I work in front of my computer, it is a treat to look at my wrist. In terms of chronometry, I find it very precise, better than Rolex or Tudor. I think it is a watch that I could pass on to my son later.

My watch is Lunar.

The Hamilton Jazzmaster is my first experience in mechanical watchmaking. During the first wave of Covid confinement, I had time to browse the internet and find my first automatic watch. I had hesitated for a long time between 3 brands: Tissot, Seiko and Hamilton. And my choice fell on the Hamilton with its Open Heart which reveals its mechanism. In the light, we see all its brilliance. I was amazed by its 80 hours of power reserve which lets me rest my wrist from time to time. Concerning the horns and the case, we have more brushed and a little polished. In several years of use, we see very few scratches. I like to wear it in all situations (at work, in the evening, etc ...). It is robust and elegant.

My first automatic watch

The brand Nomos Glash&uuml;tte was founded in 1990 by Roland Schwertner in Glash&uuml;tte, Germany. Photographer and computer enthusiast, the founder created this brand between modernity and tradition two months after the fall of the Berlin Wall. This little Nomos has just arrived in my collection. The finishes are really well executed, this green dial called petrol is a success. What can I say about the finesse of this piece, only 8.3cm. 
Nomos is really a brand apart that combines the quality price ratio in a beautiful way.

Attention nugget

This Nomos, even if it has a contained diameter, displays a beautiful presence on the wrist. This watch is a real eye catcher, the blue sunray dial and the mirror polished finish of the case and bracelet are undoubtedly something to do with it. The movement, visible on the back of the case, is superbly finished, especially considering the price of the watch. The only debatable point of this watch is the bracelet which seems light and the mirror polished finish buckle which is a great scratch catcher.

A watch with character!

The best of German watchmaking at affordable prices, Nomos is a brand for enthusiasts! The 37mm Club Sport is perfect for all types of wrists. The 100% in-house movement is magnificent and at only 3.2mm, it's a feat for an automatic. The green sunray dial called "petrol" changes from mint to olive, it's superb!

Unbeatable!

Watch of the firsts, first German watch, first blue dial, first watch bought online. I liked it on the Nomos website, I like it even more in real life. I find it versatile, small second for me is a code of a dress watch and waterproof to 300m. In addition a beautiful manufacture movement.

I chose this Nomos for its sporty character but also its finesse which in my opinion makes it an everyday watch, as pretty with a shirt as an old faded t-shirt. The Colors seen on the internet are not always representative of this polar blue tending towards gray, or even an ocean blue with the most beautiful effect depending on the angle of the view. Its neomatik movement is magnificent but my watch is at -10s per day which disappoints me a little. Also the lugs seem a little long to me compared to the finesse of the case, just like the inside of the clasp which deforms the bracelet a little once the watch is put on my small wrist. Its readability is excellent, as is its comfort.
