You thought that only the Nautilus or the Royal Oak could embody the luxury sports watch in steel with an integrated bracelet in the 70s??? Well let me introduce you to the Seamaster Cosmic reference 166.0195. An angular case with large chamfers, a bezel inserted into the case, a mineral glass revealing a superb iridescent blue dial. This version has the caliber 1012 but there is also a version with the day and date. There have also been other dials (black, taupe, gray) and other indexes (notably in the shape of squares). Paradoxically the crown is screwed but the back is clipped... too bad for a "Seamaster"... But hey we easily forget it when we look at the other characteristics of the watch. The bracelet called "Chatelain" from the name of its manufacturer is perfectly integrated into the case. It has chamfers in the exact extension of the case. It is a watch that attracts the eye, that calls for discussion especially among Omega fans. And I think that is what I like most about this watch, the fact that it arouses curiosity, that its rarity means that we do not see it often and that it has been the starting point of wonderful watchmaking discussions.
