This is my 33rd birthday watch, a rather biased gift. The watch is as pleasant to wear as it is to look at. The finishes are really very beautiful and what can I say about this yellow dial. The indexes, hands, dates, bracelet, everything is perfectly proportioned. The transparent back reveals the movement. The only downside is probably the clasp, a little tinny but effective.

I have been to New York regularly. This multifaceted city is a place that suits me well where you can find quiet areas and the most lively places on the planet. The port of this city is a concentrate of these different atmospheres and one of my favorite places. Concerning the watch, it has many qualities apart from the links I have with New York. First of all its iridescent dial that changes color with each ray of sunshine. The indexes, the crown, the hands, the whole is remarkable and robust. The two bracelets suit it wonderfully well. In short, I bought this watch following a change of company also very linked to New York, for me it ticks all the boxes. If I had to find a fault with it, it might be its rubber bracelet which I find surprisingly less comfortable than steel.

A very successful and original design, very marked nuances at the level of the superb sunburst dial and the ceramic bezel depending on the light (we go from a bright green in the sun to almost black in low light), a finish that is difficult to match at this price, extraordinary comfort on steel as on rubber, remarkable precision (+4s/day) for a SW200 base, a presence on the wrist that is astonishing without being massive... this diver has everything going for it and will make a wonderful Daily or travel partner.

Oris Acquis date 41.5

A recognizable case and different from what we usually see on divers. A very beautiful watch well finished, a very well integrated bracelet and a crown protector with visible screws very nice. On this Sellita version I would have preferred a solid back but I forgive it!

Oris strikes hard!

This watch is a bit special. In addition to being my first mechanical watch, the dial of the Aquis date upcycle is made of recycled plastic, which makes this watch almost unique and very personal. That's what made me fall in love when I saw it in a small built-in display case all to itself. Despite everything, I went to several stores and saw six models but no other dial was up to par. When I look at it, I see a painting and I never get tired of it. The "taupe" bezel adds this little dressy touch that balances the blue of the dial. The only small downside is that I had to bring the watch back a few days after purchasing it because it was moving forward by about 25 seconds per day. Too bad Oris didn't take the time to better regulate their calibers from the start... Anyway, now it works very well and I wear it almost every day! I recommend it!

a favorite

My first diver. I was looking for a professional diver, present but not too imposing, with a strong identity but from a recognized brand.
I found it at Oris, an independent brand conveying beautiful values.
Its dark blue sunray dial plays with the reflections of light. The 41.5 MM diameter ensures a beautiful presence on the wrist, but the short horns sit very well on my chicken wrist.
The Sellita SW200 caliber is a safe bet, a model of precision and reliability.
With its 300 meters of water resistance, it has the attributes of a professional, robust diving watch, which you can wear in many circumstances, whether in its natural element or at the office, because it also knows how to be smart.
