After the Rolex Deepsea that I sold and a Panerai that I still have, here I am with another diver which this time is an Omega. Not having been able to try it before, I bought this watch blindly and therefore not without a certain apprehension but in the end, it suits me super well with a diameter of 45.5 which is nickel and is really magnificent. In short an Omega in all its splendor!!!

Being a fan of the Speedmaster that I intend to buy one day, I hesitated for a long time to get this Moonswatch from the prices offered on the internet until I came across an ad with for once a price identical to that asked in store and what's more in hand delivery so I said to myself, let's go for it and so for a few days now I have been the owner of this iteration of the Speedmaster.

Apart from that the watch is pretty but you can see that it is not made to last over time and that it is therefore a disposable watch.
That said it does the job and pleases my nephew enormously to whom I am thinking of giving it and who knows, it might make him want to buy a real Speed in a few years.

A revisited icon

I bought myself this PAM00111 second-hand in 2018 and since then it's been love at first sight. I love its sandwich dial, its cushion case and the crown protector. A watch on which I change the strap like I change my t-shirt as it gives it a completely different look depending on whether it's on a canvas or a nato for a more sporty look or on leather for a more elegant look.

A classic but also elegant diver

After the Moonswatch that I acquired last week, I fell for this Blancpain X Swatch that I find really superb. It was also a real favorite once I had it on my wrist.
The only downside is its nato strap that I don't find great although very pretty but fortunately the seller left me the rubber that is mounted on it and I find that it suits it wonderfully.

Light and captivating

Here is a watch that I had my eye on for many years but for which I fell for last week after trying it on.
What put me off about this watch was the fact that its diameter was less than 44mm and as I am used to watches of this diameter, I had a lot of trouble taking the plunge until I came across an ad for this watch at a very interesting price for a piece dating from January 2024 and I decided to go and try it on.

As a result, I left the store conquered and I contacted the seller to tell him that I would take it from him.

The watch arrived two hours ago and it was love at first sight as I find it so magnificent. Its gray sunray dial is superb and the rubber strap suits it much better than the steel strap.

Anyway, a new piece that I love and that I am sharing with you here.

After seeing the episode of small watches between friends on this watch, I had a little crush which made me swear to myself to get one and it is now done since this morning or going to my watchmaker to buy nato straps, I come across this watch in his window and so I left with this very pleasant diver to wear and with a look that I love.

This is the one that was my second automatic watch and that was given to me by a friend in 2014. This Vostock has everything to please me, the fact that it is a watch that goes everywhere and is unrecognizable but also its very sporty look. Basically it is mounted on a rubber strap but having broken the latter and not being able to find another one or even an adaptable one because of its unique lug width, I managed with the help of a seamstress to adapt a nato strap to it and I must say that it suits it wonderfully while I was afraid that it would not match. Anyway, here is a very simple watch with a light gray sunray dial with the most beautiful effect and that we do not see often, if ever.

My first watch in 47mm and unlike many of my other watches, I didn't think twice before buying it because it was love at first sight when I saw it for sale on the site. Buying a watch without being able to try it on can be a bad surprise but this was not the case, quite the contrary.

A very elegant watch on its original crocodile strap but which is also very sporty depending on whether you wear it on a nato, a canvas or a rubber.
It is also very massive but that does not prevent it from being very comfortable to wear.

Elegant but massive and also sporty

After buying my first Turtle a few weeks ago, I fell for it again a few days ago, but this time for its version with a khaki embossed dial and black bezel that I find simply magnificent. This watch inspires the solidity and quality that make it possible for me to wear it every day, regardless of my activities, without fear of damaging it. My first square watch and I love it. At first I was skeptical about buying and wearing this watch that I found too thin until the day when I passed by the retailer's store, I went in to try the BR05 to see what it would look like on my big wrist and finally and after several tries between the BR05, the BR03 Diver and the BR03 Black Steel which I finally left with. And since then I love wearing it and especially on the khaki rubber strap that the retailer gave me.

When I bought this GShock last year, I was surprised by its lightness and comfort to the point that it became my new toolwatch and then later, I learned about the mods allowing me to customize it with a case identical to that of the famous Royal Oak and that's what I did and since then I find it even prettier.

In 2019, I fell in love with this Hamilton chrono that I bought new on the internet.
This watch is very pretty on its original crocodile strap but I find it more beautiful on a nato or a parachute strap even if a rubber or leather like Arezzo Strap also suits it wonderfully.
And although it is 45.5mm, it fits very very well on the wrist because of its very small lug to lug.

A chronograph with a vintage look

A watch that I fell for because it looks a lot like the Richard Mille RM01 that I find magnificent but unfortunately out of budget so this one was a great alternative because of its price. This watch which has a look that is both sporty and dressy depending on whether it is on a leather strap or rubber is very very comfortable to wear in addition to being very beautiful.

A watch from an iconic French brand that was the first one with which I really set foot in watchmaking and that I wore every day for many years. It was given to me by my grandmother in 2002 for my 26th birthday and although I don't know why it no longer works today, I still keep it in my collection.

New arrival in my Panerai collection this Luminor Marina PAM564 Bettarini case of 44mm. Very pleasant and soft to wear, thanks to the titanium, and especially to a very contained thickness 13 mm. Magnificent, sausage dial, dark chocolate. Sapphire case back which leaves the P5000 movement partially visible. Water resistance 300m. I like the brushed titanium finishes which give it an elegant and sober look while emphasizing the tool watch aspect.

Luminor Marina 8 Days Titane

I chose this watch more than a decade ago. Being a woman I didn't like the watches that were branded for women and I was looking for a bigger model and most importantly, a watch that wasn't on every woman's wrist. I love the timeless design, the size, the character of this piece, that suits me as a wearer. The alligator wristband will soon be changed for a new one,  alligator it will be once again, to add the classic touch for an everyday wear. I regularly look at other options to add a new piece  to my collection,  but till now I haven't found anything that makes my heart beat like my Panerai

The watch I will never be tired to wear

The latest arrival in my collection, this Panerai seduced me with its contained diameter of 40mm and its water resistance to 300m. This model is no longer produced and has been replaced by the Quaranta with the same diameter with a thinner case but with a lower water resistance of 100m. It also has the particularity of having a cyclops for the date. Its massive style and its very luminescent indexes make this watch immediately recognizable with its famous crown protector and its rubber very pleasant to wear. It should be noted however that this watch is relatively heavy even if you get used to it quickly.

Panerai Luminor Marina PAM00048

This Luminor Marina is the watch of my 40th birthday. I chose it in this version, PAM 177, in Titanium version, with transparent case back. I particularly like the Titanium finish, matte, more discreet than the versions in shiny steel. It is imposing (44mm in diameter and 15mm in height) and will be less suitable for watch lovers with small wrists. The design of the Luminor Marina is recognizable among thousands, with its protective crown for the winder, its Arabic numerals (3 - 6 - 12 visible), its small seconds and its hands and indicators painted in Luminor. I have been wearing it very regularly for almost 10 years, more on weekends or on vacation (with its magnificent rubber strap stamped Officine Panerai), because with a suit or a shirt, it is a little thick. This model is mechanically wound, with a power reserve of 56 hours, in reality closer to 48 hours. Its Swiss ETA 6497/2 movement (OP XI caliber) is a little fragile: in almost 10 years, it has gone to after-sales service 3 times, each time because the winding spring had broken. I should point out that I am very meticulous, that I do not wind it until it is blocked (it is very possible that I will not reach the 56 hours of reserve for this reason) and that I do not do any violent sports with it (golf or tennis). The first two times, in direct after-sales service, I was not very satisfied. The third time, with the help of Maison Bucherer in Paris, the intervention seems to have definitively solved the problem and for more than 4 years, it has been running like clockwork. I wear this watch with different bracelets, a black leather one from the house, the rubber bracelet, but also Natos. I will keep this watch without hesitation, it is rare in this Titanium version and I love its iconic design. If you want to discover it, it is presented in an episode of Petites Montres entre amis.

A timeless watch with an iconic design

I must admit that I did not particularly like this watch the first time I saw it about fifteen years ago. To me, it looked like an old people's watch with its very large indexes, allowing better reading for the visually impaired. Finally, this watch has allowed itself to be appreciated and has become a must for my collection.
