Looking for an el primero for a long time and after multiple searches, I came across this lesser-known version, the 146 heritage.

I love its contained diameter, its magnificent sunray blue dial and its two well-proportioned sub-counters.

A little extra detail, the small second at 9 o'clock which seems to float on the dial!

A bit of poetry with this superb SBGE305 whose dial is inspired by the Hotaka mountain!
Beyond poetry, this dial is just incredible and goes from sunburst red to matte burgundy in the blink of an eye.
In addition to that, proportions for a diver that suit my chicken wrist and above all a well-respected balance.
The movement is not left out with the famous Spring drive of the Japanese house.
And yes, Grand Seiko also knows how to make sports watches!

A Japanese GMT!

First BR for me with this Bellytanker 41mm. 
A box shape that I love, an incredible finesse (when you see what others do on the market ...), a steel bezel that gives it a raw side and a super comfortable bracelet. 

Added to these superb ingredients is the fact that it is a limited edition, that it is waterproof to 100m and that the date is perfectly integrated. 

A great chrono far from the mainstream, I love it!

A timepiece worth the detour!

After having the chance to be present at the reveal of this sleeping beauty, I did not hesitate when the kick starter was launched!

A beautiful project and especially a beautiful achievement with in particular beautiful finishes on the bezel, the well-worked crown, the touches of red and the sandwich dial.

In terms of design, I would have appreciated:
- a slightly thinner case and longer and more curved horns
- an identical color between the numbers on the dial and those on the bezel

It's all a matter of taste!

A very successful Revival!

An iconic watch from the Grand Seiko catalog for several years. 
This SBGM221 ticks all the Grand Seiko boxes. 
The indexes, the hands, the polishing of the case, the balance, the precision...

I recently fell for this superb Time Travelers Purple limited edition of 500 copies, here is the recipe:
- a little cocorico as we like it
- a slice of the oldest meteorite found to date
- a piece of Space Titanium that combines several finishes
- a good dose of nice details (crown with logo, case back, buckle)
- a contained 40mm mold
Not much to reproach it for, it's a trip into space every time you put it on your wrist!

A superb release from Seiko with this 5 with a 38 mm case, very comfortable.
Snoopy in every way, on the dial, on the typography of the bezel, on the crown and of course on the case back.

A GMT watch with impeccable finishes in this price range: double screwed crown, perfect integration of the date, very well done gradient on the entire dial... All with less than 10mm thickness! The work on the horns and the flange on the movement side make it a very nice piece to admire.

A GMT worth the detour!

A steel case, a green dial and gold indexes... The bet was risky but as the other would say, the risk pays off! Probably the most versatile and versatile watch in my collection with its very functional features: 38mm, screw-down crown, brushed case and polished bezel, very nice finishes, compass function, well-integrated date, applied indexes and logo, double crown. A watch that you can take to the ends of the earth and that has a real identity as we like them!

The SARB017, a watch with character!

2 hands, a guilloche dial, well-crafted handles, a quality bracelet and a "railroad" on the glass... This is what we call an atypical design. The magic works very easily with this Burgundy dial which takes the sun in a remarkable way. No false note in my opinion... A watch that is out of the ordinary and that will make all watchmaking enthusiasts talk!

Watch UFO on the horizon!

The grammar of design at its peak, as the Japanese like it and make us like it. Flat surfaces, sharp edges, zaratsu mirror polish and a dial with subtle treatment, how can you not fall in love. With its improved version of the 9F85 quartz (small star at 6 o'clock) you won't be late thanks to its drift of -5/+5 per year, even if you're traveling because the watch has a function that allows you to adjust the hour hand without stopping the second hand, clever!

Quartz at its best!

A mechanical caliber with a 100-hour power reserve that is extremely well decorated? It is possible and it is French! I like this well-crafted case with its "welded" lugs, its applied indexes, its crown with the lily on it and the well-marked railroad. A very beautiful house with a slightly confusing marketing but worth a look.

The French know how to make watches!

A recognizable case and different from what we usually see on divers. A very beautiful watch well finished, a very well integrated bracelet and a crown protector with visible screws very nice. On this Sellita version I would have preferred a solid back but I forgive it!

Oris strikes hard!

37 mm of pure happiness! And its slightly generous thickness will not spoil the beauty and depth of this dial. A very deep black that perfectly highlights the exquisite polishing of the hands, indexes and date window. Note, a date window in the same color as the dial... It feels good. Ladies and gentlemen, go for it!

Best alternative to OP 36!

A historic brand and a model as fresh as it is robust. The presence on the wrist is interesting with its 40mm and its crown at 4 o'clock. An irreproachable quality of finish on the case, the bracelet and the clasp. And what about the dial? A magnificent yellow and an asymmetry (brand/model) which gives it a crazy charm, I love it!

A diver who has everything a great diver needs

It all started with a Duel-Time episode dedicated to the Pequignet Royale Manuelle that made me want to know more about this manufacture and this model in particular. By discovering the Pequignet manufacture and its recent history (50 years this year), I was won over by the royal movement "designed and made in France". A few weeks later, it was on my wrist. It is my first manual watch and it is a pleasure to have this contact in time with your watch. I find it very elegant, especially with its alligator-Pequignet strap. A choice that I absolutely do not regret.

French Elegance

This watch was a purchase of the heart, and I do not regret it!

I had already heard of the Pequignet brand, but nothing more...
One day I watched a Duel Time episode dedicated to the manual Royale by Pequignet...
The effect was immediate, in fact it had everything I was looking for deep down!

It is not in everyone's collections...
It has a manufactured movement
This movement is one of the rare French manufactured movements
Its price remains accessible given the specifications!

When I see it in real life at the AD, my conviction is strengthened, it is magnificent!
Lots of little details seduce me (crown with logo, folding clasp with lily in relief)
Last point that confirms my heart's desire, its diameter of 42 is perfect on the wrist (17.5 for me).
What a shame for Pequignet that on its site it is so poorly presented!

This watch has a relatively sober dial, but the details are perfect!
The sunny gray takes on different shades depending on the viewing angle... we never get tired of looking at it.
And what can we say when we turn the watch over! The caliber is exposed thanks to its sapphire opening. I'll let you make up your own mind with the photos!

To conclude, I order it with the dark alligator strap, it makes it even more beautiful!
