My first mechanics

After having had a few quartz watches, this little Relay was my first mechanical watch that I bought in 1982 (I was still a teenager). At that time, "pseudo-divers" like Kelton were flooding the market and proudly displayed 25 meters of water resistance. And me, very happy to have a "diver" with a beautiful diver engraved on the back and the word waterproof, I went to the beach and the swimming pool with it! I opened it many times to be able to see how the movement worked. Ultra basic, but as a teenager, I didn't have a lot of money either. And then it was enough to understand the mechanical system. I bought it because it had a diameter of 35 mm (which made it look like an adult watch on my small wrist at the time), and the bezel was made of aluminum (which was more qualitative than the Keltons which often had a plastic bezel). Then, moving on, I put it away for almost 40 years. But it remained very clean. After all, they are not so fragile and so useless, these little watches.
