Mint green: a magnificent dial

Rolex Datejust 36mm mint green dial ref. 126234 purchased new in October 2022 The disco ball: the affectionate nickname I give it. And at the same time, to my taste, the jubilee bracelet fluted bezel configuration is the most appropriate on this emblematic model of the brand with the crown. But the detail that pushed me to buy this watch is this new mint green dial. Magnificent, quite simply. It will change shade of green during the day depending on the light, from an English green to an emerald green. The jubilee bracelet is indeed ultra comfortable, without making the Oyster uncomfortable. The addition of the Oysterclasp on the new generations of Datejust (equipped with the 3235 movement) is certainly less discreet than the old one which was almost invisible. But this new clasp adds the easylink comfort extension, a folding link adding 5mm of length, very useful and practical in summer in particular. Finally, the fluted bezel. Well proportioned on the 36mm, neither too thin nor too thick. It offers magnificent reflections, and once again it blends very well with the jubilee bracelet. A small detail on my Datejust: the Rolex logo on the crown is perfectly straight and aligned when the latter is screwed all the way in. A stroke of luck, simple coincidence? I don't think so.
