Great opportunity to add a Navygraph to my collection, this limited series of 200 pieces for the launch of this model equipped with the new Yema CMM 20 manufacture caliber.

This version is characterized by its minimalist and chic style without losing its diver's DNA (300m water resistance)

Simple but neat finishes, deep black dial (difficult to show off in a photo), applied indexes, and sapphire black bezel. The details that I like: Yellow second hand and "Navygraph" screen printing that energize the dial, chamfers that extend to the crown protector, sapphire crystal caseback revealing this new micro rotor caliber.

The 39mm and 9mm thick case is perfect for my wrist...

Small downside on the leather strap a little stiff and not very pleasant to wear (to my taste). It will probably soften over time.



Yema Navygraph CMM20

Field watch of the brand, this model is the image of the quality offered by Serica…

The finishes are superb, alternating brushed polish on the horns and the case. The California dial is top with its alternation of Roman numerals, Arabic, and indexes at 12 3 6 and 9:00.

Its Bonklip bracelet is light and of good quality.

Associated with its COSC movement, this watch is an ideal daily both chic and sporty.


Serica 6190 California

Fan of the PRX 80 and nostalgic for the cartoons of my youth, it is impossible to miss this PRX special series Grendizer aka Goldorak for French speakers.

We will not go back over the technical characteristics of this model, the details in reference to the series are numerous… Dial, second hand, engravings on the case back, flange, and the oscillating weight.

All these elements associated with the "spazer" case and the illustrated box make this series a collector's set for the big kids that we are 🙂


Tissot PRX Goldorak

A breath of fresh air this 5303 diver!!!

An innovative design, here in its blue version… The blue-black of the abyssal depths.

The finishes are top notch, original double graduation bezel, brushed case with large polished and plunging chamfers on the horns, fine mesh bracelet with brushed end pieces that ensure comfort when worn and beautiful integration, large crown as practical as it is aesthetic.

In short, full of details, this watch with an innovative design exudes quality and modernity, while retaining its diver's toolwatch DNA.

To wear in any circumstance, sporty, chic, sporty-chic, and that's it 😀



Serica 5303 PREVENTION

We no longer present this model that has become iconic of the brand and remains in my opinion one of the best value for money of all Swiss brands combined.

3rd in my collection after the green dial and the special series "Goldo" 🙂, this new Carbon version is the best!!!

Case and dial in black and gray marbled forged carbon, black rubber strap, sapphire case back and black PVD steel.

This model is incredibly simple, discreet, pleasant to wear with its 75gr on the scale, but remains very technical at the same time.

A little more expensive than its little sisters, the investment is nevertheless worthwhile to appreciate on the wrist a PRX 80 that goes everywhere, modern, and ultra light…

Tissot PRX 80 Carbone

Passionate about divers, this C-02 seduced me with its hyper originality marked by its unique bezel, its circular brushed dial (the brand logo is great and the colorful C-02 inscription gives a touch of pep), and by its beautiful France Ebauches movement (visible on mine because I chose the "openworked background" configuration)

This "heritage" series remains however very technical with its brushed case which inspires the robustness expected on a tool watch.

I find that the whole gives this 100% French watch a feeling of reliability, originality and dynamism, while remaining sober and discreet.

This Marégraphe is in my opinion the coolest of the series.



Akrone C-02 Heritage Maréographe

Love at first sight when I saw this little Spirit in 39 mm, and I really loved this steel & gold version that I finally bought.

This GMT pilot is super original and remains very understated despite the presence of gold on the bezel, crown, hands, indexes, and the beautiful hooping at the base of the flange.

Initially on a steel bracelet with excellent finishes, I like to wear it on this black nato that only lets the attributes and finishes of the watch stand out. The balance between the gold, steel, anthracite dial, and chocolate bezel is incredible.

This beauty is powered by the COSC-certified L844.4 4-hand GMT movement.

This watch will definitely stay in my collection 👌



Longines Spirit Zulu Time 39 or

Small C1000, well-known diver from the Ollech & Wajs brand, here in a limited series of 100 pieces for the 70th anniversary of the FAGN "Forces Aeriennes de la Gendarmerie Nationale"

Blue hands, gendarmerie logo, special bezel, and case back engraved for the occasion.

Mounted on blue nato and driven by a Newton caliber, this version retains the 1000m specs and exudes the quality of the original C1000.

A very cool piece 👌

Ollech limited series

A must-have in a collection, the Navitimer needs no introduction.

This version is part of a limited series of 2000 copies for the launch of the first Navi equipped with the Breitling 01 caliber (transparent back, white gold logo, etc.)

Note the Air Racer bracelet called "Gainsbourg" in reference to the singer 👌

Much commented on the networks, this reissue of the Amphibian 250 is extremely endearing.

Despite the NH38 caliber being highly criticized for a watch priced at 1200E, I do not regret this purchase on Kickstarter at all…

Top-notch case finishes, very good quality tropical strap, dial and bezel respect the codes of this legendary diver.

Only good, except indeed the caliber that feels low-end when handling the crown…


ESKA Amphibian 250

This version 35705000 driven by the Omega 1861 caliber is the second watch in my collection acquired in 2011 just after my sub.

After all these years, still the same intense pleasure to wind it up to wake it up.

Nothing more to say about this icon presented so many times.

A must have that will remain in my collection for life.



Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch

This version of the PRX80 in 40 mm with a green dial is versatile. Very easy to wear, it goes perfectly with every situation…. Sport, chic, leisure, work.

When I hesitate over my choice of the day, it is this one that very often wins the bet.

What I like, its integrated bracelet, its 70's type case, and its green dial that plays very well with the light.

In short, an excellent quality-price ratio to treat yourself and add color to your collection.

We are not going to re-present this BB58 model…

My Navy Blue is my daily watch par excellence, associated with its sister Pelagos 39.

Perfect combination of versatility, alternation, simplicity, reliability, and efficiency.

This watch is perfect, almost too perfect… But so endearing.

What I prefer, the depth of its blue…

This Tudor, the most coherent piece in my collection.



Ma daily watch

The history of the Squale brand associated with this limited series of 50 pieces, make this 1521 Montredo X Squale a super endearing diver.

This version brings to the 1521 a more urban and sober touch, while retaining the toolwatch DNA of the original.

My SUB 14060M, what can I say… An icon often copied but that nothing replaces. The diver that we want to see enthroned in our collection.

This “no date” reference combines simplicity and sobriety with its aluminum bezel, to my taste, more discreet than the references that will succeed it.

If there were to be only one left, it would be this one of course…

Rolex Submariner 14060M

My Santos 100, a piece of aviation history associated with the height of French chic, this Cartier is essential, and extreme in this XL version ref 2656.

Despite its bodybuilder case and bracelet, it sits wonderfully on my wrist, and imposes itself with finesse despite its almost 200 grams.

Its dial is simple and effective, Roman numerals obligatory…

I wear it in all circumstances, suit or floral shirt 😀


CARTIER SANTOS DUMONT  100 XL

First edition of the Superman Heritage 63 in a limited series of 1000 copies released in 2020, this model is equipped with the famous tortoiseshell bracelet also limited to 500 copies out of 1000.

Apart from this famous unique tortoiseshell bracelet, a real gem of the brand (except the rather cheap clasp), this watch is a direct tribute to the 1963 diver and takes up its codes, which gives it a very vintage side with the most beautiful effect. Black lacquered dial, applied and circled indexes, domed sapphire, green lumi, date window also circled, in short a multitude of details that make this model (39 mm) unique with very neat finishes. The photos speak for themselves. A must-have in your collection of divers...



Almost perfect

Focus on a Roro…. The Datejust 41 blue dial. What can I say???? Wearing a Rolex is always an indescribable experience that must be lived to appreciate the high level of finishing of the brand. This Datejust is just perfect in terms of comfort and aesthetics. The dial goes through all the shades of blue depending on the lighting, which also highlights the multitude of aesthetic details that make up the elements of this model. In short, a simple, effective and chic watch that I wear regularly like all those in my collection…

This ORIS Propilot is perfect if you are looking for the codes of a basic "aero DNA" toolwatch.

I really like EVERYTHING about this watch:

Grey PVD steel case, black case back open to the caliber, high quality fabric strap, black PVD folding clasp using the codes of seat belts, simple and ultra-readable matte black dial with white luminova numerals and a very discreet date at 3:00, domed glass, full black second hand with red tip, probably as a reminder of the caliber, ultra-practical screwed big crown for handling the beast, chiseled crown and case back, all in 41mm that wears like a 39.

I can't find any competitors for it today...

ORIS BIG CROWN PROPILOT

The Speedmaster is an essential diver to keep in your collection. Like its sister the Speedmaster, the Seamaster is indeed an Omega "master".

Powerful, ultra modern and timeless, the case, bezel and bracelet shine brightly.

In the blue version, the dial (color and waves) truly lives according to the light and the direction of the gaze... the date appears at 6:00 in white on a blue background and blends in very discreetly without unbalancing the whole. A nod to the hands and the super bi-color lumi-nova.... See photo.

In short, a beautiful piece that I enjoy wearing regularly on the weekend, but which remains very present on the wrist with its 42mm and almost 200 gr.



Essential Omega

A basic to have in your collection. The ideal diver of the moment with its 39 mm, it ticks all the boxes and replaces my 14065M (which I keep of course...). This new Pelagos, in tandem with my BB58 Navy Blue, is the winning daily combo. I love its ceramic bezel with matte and shiny reflections depending on the lighting, and which brings a touch of modernity associated with the square indexes and its hands symbolizing the brand. I consume without moderation!!!

An Icon? Without a doubt, it is to watches what the Porsche 911 is to cars, a legend. Some hate it because it's a Rolex, but how can you resist its sleek, simple, no-frills style: 3 hands, a black dial, indexes, a unidirectional bezel and that's it!
I've had this 114060 for almost 10 years and I've never gotten tired of it. It's precise, reliable, it can do almost anything, you can take it to the ends of the earth, it will always tell you the time.
Personally, I prefer the Sub to the Sub date, I find it more balanced, more sober, I also prefer it to the 5-digit models which are less qualitative for me, even if I like these tritium dials patinated by time.
It's just a shame that it has become a simple product of speculation for many...

The Submariner, a legend!

Everything has been written about the Submariner, to make this watch an icon, a reference, a symbol, ... We can attribute so many qualifiers to it, that it constitutes a sort of "must have" for a watch lover. For my part, I have always appreciated this model, to the point that it would probably be the one that would remain if all the others had to leave. It is all the more irrational that within my modest collection, it is not the most beautiful, nor the most precise, nor the most inspiring, nor the most ... But it is a magnificent mechanical piece, with impeccable design and functionality, and worn by so many heroes ... All the magic of Rolex (and the marketing know-how of the brand) in the end, and too bad if I am a victim! I leave aside the comparisons between the Submariner models, which ultimately do not really matter unless you have the different models under your nose ... I do not care, I really like my Sub.

It is the dream of many to own this watch, and I was lucky enough to buy it new in 2016, in store and without any waiting... and even to benefit from a small discount!
This watch is a real pleasure, very comfortable, very precise (less than a second ahead per day), very robust (I did not spare it whether hiking or at the sea), very faithful.
Its only concern today is its success, which made me buy another watch for every day, and I wear this one less, at least not in the street or on public transport!
But as soon as I put it on, or handle its bezel, or put it to my ear to listen to its "heart", the emotion is still there, even more than 6 years after its purchase. Sublime!


More than a watch...

Here is one of the most important watches in my collection, a superb Rolex Submariner reference 114060. I am not going to be very original in saying that it was my absolute grail and that my dream was fulfilled! I use the imperfect as perfection does not exist in this world.

There is nothing to say about the robustness or the precision very largely within +2/-2 seconds announced, but rather about putting things into perspective. Since the release of the new reference 124060, I have the feeling that the 114060 is a bit "bestial" with its very wide case at the lugs! Did I rush when I could get it? Should I have chosen an older one like a 14060? I admit that I don't really know what to think anymore! Or rather yes! In fact, I have reached my grail and I realize now that there are other more modest, more expensive, rarer, simpler grails... In short, it's not easy to consider what's next after having had your Sub!

Let's get back to the watch: ultra-comfortable, solid, less recognizable than a Rolex with the date but not unhappy with the effect it has on those around me either! To be done again, perhaps thinking a little more about my tastes rather than my dreams...

Timeless but...

What can I say that hasn't already been said many times about it? In any case, I love its design, which hasn't aged a day and will continue to do so for many years to come... It goes everywhere and yet is recognizable among all, given its iconic status, it is equally at home in the deep end as on the deckchair. We wear it without thinking because it adapts to all situations and all contemporary styles.

My Rolex Submariner holds a special place as my first foray into the world of luxury watches. 

Its acquisition in 2015 following an event, ties me to it in an unbreakable way. At the time, the quest for a Rolex did not require the current patience of x years of waiting, with no guarantee of success. My parents, leaving on a trip, consulted the Rolex boutique at the airport for this specific watch. Unavailable on site, they learned that it was in Paris, conditioning its setting aside on my visit in the following two days, without any history in this boutique. 

My first luxury watch entered my life at the age of 32, a time when my watchmaking horizon was limited. Naturally, Rolex became an obvious choice. The Submariner, emblem of the brand, offered me the choice between the Sub Date and the No Date. I opted for the latter, more faithful to the original model and whose balance of the dial, without date, seemed optimal to me, also eliminating the presence of a cyclops.

To detail my opinion, I will address each part of the watch.

The sapphire crystal, a crucial element for a tool watch, stands out as a real asset, with the laser-engraved Rolex logo, a detail that I discovered later, but which reinforces the attention to detail characteristic of Rolex.
The unidirectional bezel offers pleasant handling, with sparkling ceramic, scratch-resistant, and intended to retain its shine over time. This is not an aspect that bothers me; if I had wanted a model that would patina over time, I would have opted for vintage. The current shine will remain the same when my daughter wears it one day.
The dial, just as dazzling, seduces with its four lines that harmoniously occupy the space. The absence of a date contributes to a perfect symmetry, accentuated by the Rolex engraved flange, a real visual pleasure. The use of Rolex Super-Luminova for the indexes and hands adds valuable functionality by offering exceptional readability in the dark.

With its 40 mm, the case fits perfectly on my 17.5 cm wrist. The thinness of the watch ensures ideal proportions.

The movement, reliable and precise, required a revision after 8 years, marked by the watch stopping following a broken mainspring.

The water resistance of this watch guarantees undeniable robustness.

As for the bracelet, it is impeccable and pleasant to wear, with the Glidelock system allowing summer adjustments when the wrist tends to swell.

For five years, this watch has been my daily companion, resistant to all tests, a real tool watch. It has traveled with me, has been immersed in all kinds of adventures, from New York to Marrakech. She followed me on quads, jet skis, buggies, skis… Today, I treat her a little more carefully, my collection having expanded, and my other watches taking over.
In conclusion, my Rolex embodies my first real watch. Witness to my travels, it remains the sure pillar of my collection, matching all outfits. It's always fun to see people's eyes fall on it. Essential, timeless, it is much more than a simple watch, it is a Rolex.
