During a visit to Seiko, I inquired about the Spring Drive calibers that I thought were reserved for Grand Seiko. The friendly salesman then brought out this big, imposing beast and explained that he always had a few examples for some enthusiasts. First impression, what is this thing? Imposing and unusual, I was immediately won over by this sliding second hand which is absolutely magical. It also has a magnificent, very deep black dial and a very unusual, very discreet GMT hand, unlike what is usually done. A date at 3 o'clock and a power reserve thrown in somewhat at random complete the ensemble. Its case is asymmetrical for better integration of the crown at noon. Very light, thanks to the Titanium, it is not exactly beautiful but its charisma and originality seduced me immediately.
