This Seiko was my first vintage watch and what a slap! From 1968, it keeps time really well (better than my recent Seiko 5s…), it has a sporty versatile look but very chic contained dimensions. With the factory logo "Suwa" it is representative of a rich period in Seiko's history! And the engraving on the back marks a beautiful heritage, because the watch was surely offered to an employee of Hino Motors as a reward for his work, as evidenced by the Kanjis and the company logo. Vintage Seikos offer exceptional value for money and for less than €400 you can have a watch in very good condition with an interesting history! I wear it too little because its impeccable condition despite its 55 years puts me off risking damaging it on a daily basis... It is as comfortable on its original steel bracelet as on a beautiful leather, and its clear dial, its perfectly machined indexes and hands restore the light in the most beautiful way!
