Hello everyone! This time we meet again for a new review of the Frédérique Constant brand. Today let's review the Classics Quartz model, a watch that I describe as sublime and that knows how to be forgotten.

First of all, I'll share with you some technical characteristics:

As you will have understood, its characteristics for a dress watch are really excellent!

I guarantee that wearing it every day, even at work, is a real pleasure both for the eyes and for its comfort! It is extremely light and in 30 minutes, you no longer feel like you are wearing anything on your wrist.

What is notable are the finishing qualities that I find incredible, the steel has been so well worked, that just to the eye the watch appears to be of very high quality. And this turns out to be totally true. 
The leather strap is so pleasant, supple but robust, the quality is once again very present. 

The dial offers a deep midnight blue with a slight guilloche in the background which gives it its classic and distinguished side! the sub-dials know how to be discreet and integrate perfectly into the whole with their display of the day and date. 

The proportions are simply perfect. 

That's all for this review, so yes most of the reviews published so far are very good but the fact remains that the watches for which the reviews were given are all more interesting than the others.

The Needle: Our Opinion on the FC Classics Quartz

Hello everyone! Here is my second review on the site and today, I'm talking to you about my Tag Heuer Exclusive 2000! 

I bought this watch second-hand with its original box and the latest maintenance invoices and I must say that upon receipt I was very pleasantly surprised by its superb blue sunray dial! 

Without further ado, I'll give you the technical specifications: 

Case Size: 38 MM
Case Material: Steel
Movement: Quartz ETA 955.112
Glass: Sapphire
Dial Type: Blue sunray, stick indexes and Arabic numerals at 12, 6 and 9 o'clock
Water Resistance: 200 meters
Year of production: 2004 ~ 2005

Personally, I find it really beautiful with this deep dial that displays magnificent reflections in natural light! The 38mm case is really not ridiculous. My feeling when worn is closer to a 40mm thanks to its unidirectional bezel which is quite imposing. 

Its sporty look but its contained size allows you to wear it with any outfit. Casual or with a shirt it will be just perfect! Even at the gym and in the pool thanks to its screwed crown which allows a water resistance up to 200m! 

The bracelet is pleasant, it is possible to adjust it not only with the links but also thanks to the folding clasp, with 3 additional notches for wrists between two sizes. Which between us is really practical especially when we tend to inflate or deflate the wrist depending on the season. 

Its sapphire crystal is in excellent condition for its age, it has a few micro scratches but really nothing important for a watch that is 19 years old. What else can I say, its superluminova is also in very good condition and in the middle of the night the watch displays good readability, I just regret that the Arabic numeral indexes are not covered with superluminova. 

Tag Heuer is my second favorite brand after Breitling and I can already tell you that I will not stop at just this model! The goal is for the moment set to the legendary Tag Heuer Monaco, either in gray background or blue background. 

To conclude, I am more than seduced by this magnificent Tag Heuer Exclusive 2000 series!

Ytbe L'Aiguille Chain Review: Tag Heuer Exclusive 2000

Hi everyone! I'm Yanice from the L'Aiguille channel, I'm sharing with you here a favorite for a vintage Breitling model! It's the Breitling Colt Quartz Reference A57035 from 1994-1995, here are the specifications: 

This watch has a stainless steel case 38 mm in diameter and 11 mm thick, a stainless steel rotating bezel with engravings at 5-minute intervals, a blue dial with Arabic numerals, a date window at 3 o'clock. 

The watch is equipped with a quartz movement and is water-resistant to 300 meters. 

Mounted on a Breitling bracelet with a double folding clasp and extension on the buckle to best adjust the size to your wrist, it has a sapphire crystal, the indexes and hands display very good luminescence despite its twenty years. 

I find this watch timeless with its contained diameter, it is pleasant on the wrist, light and discreet. Nevertheless it remains recognizable thanks to its bezel typical of the manufacture. The bracelet is robust, the screwed crown allows good water resistance. 

I find it perfect in every way, despite the fact that many people shun it a little because it is an entry-level model, on the contrary I find that it allows enthusiasts to start a beautiful collection with one of the most prestigious Swiss watch brands. 

I admit that Breitling is my favorite brand and this first watch suits me perfectly! The next one will certainly be a Chronomat!

My vintage quartz

Hello, One of my favorite watches, because it's complex. Tag Heuer Professionnal 2000 Automatic (200m) from 1987, Heuer/Tag transition (Heuer buckle & crown), chronograph & diver. Small format (Ø38 case / Ø36 bezel), "monochrome" satin gray on all its parts, which gives it a lunar aesthetic evoking John Glenn (first Swiss chrono in space, 1962). To summarize, a great elegance of materials & proportions on a very typical 80' case at TagHeuer, a bit outdated but a taste of come back to it. Quite difficult to find a coherent bracelet for it, but it's finally done. _ I specify that all my watches have a functional purpose, namely to read the time easily; and not a decorative object on my wrist.

The watch of paradoxes

TAG Heuer, a brand that has been associated with motor racing for several decades. I found this beautiful professional full set a few weeks ago. Capricious to get it going again, the quartz movement finally started up again after a session with the demagnetizer. Cosmetically very beautiful for a watch that is over 25 years old, its size of 37mm is ideal for my 17.5 wrist. Its light gray dial makes it very versatile. Its Mercedes hand gives it a little Explorer 2 look. The strap is well made but the buckle is a little hard to open. Remember that it is a diver with the extension for the suit. It is a pre-"Aquatimer" in a way. It is really a beautiful little watch, quite cheap for a Tag. Enough to think you are a grand prix driver.
