Return to the land of yesteryear

I was hesitating between the PRX Powermatic 35 and 40mm, when suddenly, he crossed the entire universe as fast as the speed of light... And yes, it's him, Goldorak, or rather his Japanese name: Gurandaiza, although he's much better known in France and Italy than in Japan. No more hesitation, this was the model I needed. Although it wasn't a limited edition, the watch quickly became unavailable on the Tissot website, fortunately a well-known AD was about to receive one. I thank him. Note that it is now available again on the official website. As you can see, this is more of a child's whim than a horological grail, but still, without dwelling on its characteristics, which it shares with the automatic PRXs that never left Earth, it's a nice watch with an 80-hour power reserve, very precise (about 30 seconds ahead per month), a strap that's comfortable to wear and very easy to change. I also bought a rubber strap, which I find better matches the regressive side of the watch. As for the "UFO ROBO GURANDAIZĀ" itself, I appreciate the absence of a date (Goldorak often gets the day wrong). The subtle "Goldorakization" means that at 50 cm, you can't tell that this is an exclusive model. Of course, there's the robot's bust shallowly engraved on the dial, the asteroid-shaped seconds hand, and engravings above the railway and on the oscillating weight. And the case: the spaceship, very nice. I regret that the case doesn't fit the wrist tightly enough for my taste, like the other PRXs. The brand inscription on the beast's chest is inappropriate, but they couldn't not LOGO it; not everyone can be Moser. On the other hand, I'm very disappointed by the luminova, which is far too weak. In photos, Goldorak's silhouette appears green, which is very charming; unfortunately, in real life, it's fleeting and not spectacular at all. The extra cost is a bit high compared to terrestrial models, but exclusivity comes at a PRICE.
