Tudor Black Bay 54 Owner Review : Discreet, historical and small

The BB54 when it was announced, ticked a lot of boxes, it's true that Tudor has the talent to make us want with its watches. And it caught the eye of a lot of people, I wasn't specifically looking for a watch. But it also caught the eye of my wife, I am particularly interested in a Sub 5513 or 14060M, so I was not insensitive to its charm and its history. As much as the BB58 guilt never attracted me with its golden bezel and its two snowflake hands, the BB54 erased that, all that was missing was a case in 40 and a Mercedes hand and there, we really arrived at what Rolex and Tudor did in the 50s. I suspected that we would have to wait months before it was available, but after a brief fitting in the galleries in Paris, I had the opportunity to acquire one. It fits on my wrist (17/17.5 cm) as well as on my wife's (14.5 cm). My wife wears it quite regularly and it fits her quite well, but the big oyster links do not make it easy to adjust, even with the T-Fit, I am waiting for a half link and it will be perfect. After a few weeks, looking at the BB54 on my wrist, I still find it quite small and so, I wear it less often. It is a very beautiful watch, discreet, qualitative and its size corresponds well to its history, we hesitated to keep it, but something prevents us from parting with it.
