I really like the Breitling of aviation, the one of the big models, the one of the generous and solid leather! 
I found my nugget at a big dealer in the second-hand, a model of 2015, coming from the United Kingdom, you have to bring the watch from there but too bad! It is magnificent and it attracts me! 
So I try it on the capital, a treat. 
The details are crazy, the tip of the red second hand, the logo of the brand opposite the second hand, the details of the graduations, this particular noise of the chronos when you reset them to 0... winding a chrono manually... it's a real experience.

A classic never equaled

The first contact with this watch was the result of provocation: "I never had a crush on the steel bracelet watch", it didn't take less for the salesman at the watch shop to make me try the speedmaster moonwatch and this BB58. At first hesitant then in a corner of my mind without being able to try the experience again I returned to my salesman to try it again, surprise it was available right away. Oh dear! Easy! You don't know me well, unlike ordinary mortals I need time, for the watch to "make its way". I went back anyway a week later and finally put myself on the waiting list... what a pleasure this wait was... Only 4 months and I had this watch on my wrist, no longer able to take it off. The only watch that has this effect on me to this day!

A daily pleasure

This watch is sublime, I've been wearing it almost every day for a year and I never get tired of it.
Everything charms me about this watch: its design, its proportions, its history.
I have it on both Tudor bracelets: Steel & Fabric. Both suit it perfectly.
It is also very precise and despite the fact that it is a toolwatch with a sporty look, it has a dressy side because of its deep blue & silver accents.

So comforting

No doubt this Tudor BB 58 is a great watch in its category. Suffice to say that it ticks (for me) all the boxes of a "toolwatch". What I liked above all was its diving/vintage side without crown protector, its contained thickness of 12 mm as well as its diameter of 39 mm. With its "Kénesis" manufacture caliber it has a remarkable precision on my wrist of + 1 second/day, a real treat. 
Depending on the seasons and the moment, I change its strap, the fabric for the summer, the steel and the leather in winter. Everything suits it well, I would like to find it a good rubber strap without space between the strap and the case. You will have understood I am filled with its versatility.

Tudor BB 58

I chose this watch to celebrate a notable family event. I wanted a sober, versatile and timeless watch. I am won over, 2 years later it follows me everywhere, surfing, in the mountains, cycling, or in the evening, it delights me with its versatility. When I go on vacation and although I have a small collection, I never hesitate on which one will accompany me. The BB58 is my watch made for trips.

The Tudor Black Bay Fifty-Eight 39mm is an ideal watch for all occasions.
It is a watch that is both sporty chic and discreet in everyday life.
What I like about this watch is its blue dial that changes color in bright sunlight.

The baby Sub as I call it, its retro style is most beautiful with its gold and black touch, a hint of red on the crown at 12 o'clock makes it particularly balanced with its 39mm diameter. Ma daily watch

I have had this watch for a year and a half. For a while it was the only watch left in my collection, because it represented what I expected from an everyday watch: discreet due to its rather contained diameter of 39mm, thin (which always dissuaded me from buying a Black Bay 41 which was much too thick in my opinion for a 3-hand watch), waterproof, precise, goes everywhere... it ticked all the boxes of the perfect watch. Even today, I would have a hard time finding a fault with it... apart from perhaps the absence of the famous T-fit on its steel bracelet. In any case, I recently put a leather strap on it and I think it will stay that way for a while. I chose a black one because I like the vintage look brought by the gilt and the color of the indexes, as well as the red marker on the bezel, taken from the model of the time.

A perfect “everyday watch”

Following an inheritance and the birth of my son, I wanted to buy myself a beautiful watch, which brought together my entire collection in a single watch. I found this beautiful Tudor Black Bay with its COSC certification. A diver with an elegant look, this blue background that changes with the light of day. Totally fan!! A real toolwatch.

The first watch I bought, a special memory that comes back every time I look at it. A diver from a historic house with a manufactured movement. Totally versatile, it accompanies me as well at sea as in the office, in a wetsuit as in a shirt, on steel as on nato. You get it, a real favorite every time I wear it!

BB58 (Blue), the ideal watch?

The Tudor Black Bay 58 Navy Blue was a real favorite for me from the moment it was launched. This favorite never went away, and after two years of reflection and following the sale of a Black Bay 41mm, I finally decided to buy it.

I really like this watch, especially for its wearing comfort thanks to its 39 mm diameter, its 47.6 mm lug to lug and its thickness of 11.9 mm.

Its vintage design, which draws its inspiration from the 50s, combined with the distinctive Tudor blue shade and the "snowflake" hands characteristic of Tudor since the late 60s, pays elegant homage to the history of the brand.

Beyond its retro aesthetic, the mechanical heart of this watch is resolutely modern. Equipped with the Tudor MT5402 movement, it offers remarkable performance, with a power reserve of 70 hours, a frequency of 28,800 vibrations per hour and a precision certified by the COSC. It is even regulated with an even finer precision, of -2/+4 seconds per day.

All this is all the more remarkable when you consider that its price remains well below €5,000.

Perfectly versatile!

I went into AD Tudor with the firm intention of buying a blue Pelogos, and I came out with this BB58. An immediate favorite. Its format, its perfect diameter of 39, the beauty of the dial, and then that je ne sais quoi that the red triangle at 12 o'clock brings to it. I can spend a long time looking at it, admiring it. I like to wear it on a NATO. It gives it a magnificent adventurer look.
There is also at Tudor this impression of quality and robustness that the case offers. When you turn the bezel, you have this impression of work well done just by hearing the click.
If there were only one left in my collection, it would probably be this one.

Love at first sight for the red triangle

I saw it and was immediately seduced. Its black dial tending towards brown depending on the exposure to light, its golden details, the small red triangle and the leather strap make it so warm. A diver mounted on a leather strap may seem paradoxical. But it is precisely this combination that I liked. And let's be honest: who really dives with their watch? It is a watch for everyday life. It can be worn with any outfit, rather discreet and easily hidden under the sleeve of a shirt thanks to its small size.

A warm watch


The Tudor Black Bay 58 is without a doubt an exceptional watch and seems to be the best in my collection. Its perfectly tailored dive watch design, combined with its great comfort, makes it an ideal choice for holidays and everyday activities. Since I bought it for my birthday last July, my love for this watch has continued to grow and I can't get enough of it.

TUDOR BLACKBAY 58

Perhaps the ideal watch. A direct descendant of an era when it officially shared most of its components with its cousin in the crown, it has been reborn by wonderfully marrying history and modernity. Its distinctive and magnificent blue also links it to the versions intended for the French Navy. It is also this color that made me fall in love, it made me forget the Snowflake that I have since learned to appreciate. For the rest, no surprises. Precision, robustness, comfort and elegance are there. The blue rubber suits it wonderfully and alternates with the original NATO because the steel did not convince me.

The Heiress

I first discovered the Black Bay in its 41 version (ETA movement) but I found it too imposing and too thick for my wrist. When the release of this 58 was announced with its reduced diameter, its "so-called" manufacture movement and its reduced thickness, I immediately rushed to the store! I also appreciated the aesthetics of the model; in particular its black dial matching its bezel with golden touches and its small red triangle. Its steel bracelet is very well finished but, the only downside is that it lacks a micro adjustment for the watch to be perfect.

Tudor Black Bay 58

The watch of my 50th birthday, yes because if you don't have a Tudor at 50 it's not so bad. This Tudor diver combines class and sport, wearable in all circumstances, I particularly like its aluminum bezel, the details are quite crazy, I never get tired of wearing it and finding it again is always a pleasure. The size for my 16.5 wrist is just perfect, and this blue ahhhhh this blue is unique and so attractive. In short I love this watch, I put a special event in its history and between it and me it's for life.

The ocean is mine

As a fan of diving watches, I wanted a watch brand recognized in the diving watch world. Especially since it was to mark my 50th birthday. Having equipped the French Navy, Tudor corresponded to my specifications. I opted for the BB58 because it was more versatile than the Pelagos. The Navy represents the Tudor spirit more than the Gilt with its "Tudor blue" color. In my opinion, it gives it more personality. The finish seems to me to be very well made with its polished chamfers which give it a classy side. As for the movement, the MT 5402 with its 70h RDM, perfectly meets my expectations, COSC, it is very precise. It is a watch that I trust. The only downside is that the bracelet would deserve a fine adjustment. This BB58 won me over...

If there was only one left...

I bought this watch because there is Rolex behind it, for the finish and the quality of the product.
In any case, Rolex are not available, while I have been on the waiting list for almost two years.
I find that this watch is a good alternative, it is pretty, I find that the black and gold as well as the red index on the crown are very beautiful. I blame myself because I don't wear it much because I am quite manic 🙁

My first luxury watch

What can I say about this Tudor black bay 58? Too many things and I'm unfortunately going to forget some aha!
The dimensions of this watch are for my part perfect and can adapt to any type of wrist. This vintage and sporty dial gives it a dressy side which allows it to be worn in any type of situation. I really like the indexes circled in gold and the snowflake hands which are a true signature of the brand.
Its water resistance (20 ATM) allows you to do absolutely everything with it.
The steel bracelet is of excellent quality and super comfortable.
This watch is the most precise in my collection even if I am not a geek concerning this spec it is always pleasant.

In my selection process, I wondered which watch would complement my speed ck2998 (see my review https://www.dialicious.com/omega/speedmaster_ck_2998 ) and serve as my daily watch? This tudor ticked all the boxes: small diameter (39mm), well finished, discreet, robust, water-resistant to 200m, and goes everywhere! I had asked my AD to notify me of its arrival in store and that's how I was able to discover it! In hand, I liked it even more than in the photo, the choice of black or blue was available to me, but in my collector's mind I associate the spirit of a blue dial with a chic sports watch! So I opted for the black one, in my opinion more consensual and more in the spirit of the product, which is to make Neo vintage on the basis of a previous model with a black dial. After two and a half years of use, I am very satisfied, it is the watch that I wear the most, the most versatile! I loved it on steel, but I recently put it on its black and gold Tudor Nato, which suits it perfectly! However, I find that the Nato gives it another look, more adventurous, a little less classy, but suddenly, the Nato renews this watch, and leaves the choice of the switch with the steel according to your mood! In short, this 3-hand no date diver spirit, with an old-fashioned bezel that is not ceramic, already gives it a vintage look, and approaches time with happiness: it is like good wine, with scratches and traces of life it will be even more beautiful in the future! In short, at this price, in this segment, I find it great, go for it! Finally, for those who have the idea of having a unique watch, I also find that it is ideal, because for me it concentrates a lot of qualities: class, sport, consensual and discreet with a level of finish that is hyper qualitative at this price!

Ma BB58… ma Daily Watch! 

Here is my daily, the Tudor Black Bay 58 black and gilt dial (or gold depending on the person). Its charm was evident from its launch, just from the photos. I was lucky enough to be able to try it quickly without being able to buy it. This forced me to think in spite of myself and to tell myself more than ever that I was going to buy it according to the availability of the time! A few weeks after its launch I went to buy it during a weekend in Paris at Bucherer near the Place de l'Opéra.

After more than 3 years on the wrist, I can only say that it perfectly fulfills its mission of a watch without headaches, easy to wear, neither too small, nor too big, nor too much of anything else. A discreet watch all in all even if since then, it has come a long way at Tudor with more or less successful variations...

I am very happy to have bought it at the time significantly cheaper than the 3950 euros currently asked! Small digression, the Tudor Black 54 catches my eye but isn't the characteristic of a daily to be the only one 🤔

I have had this watch for 1 year, bought as a birthday present for myself :) 
in the absence of being able to buy the watch that I want at all costs, the speedmaster which has really increased too much in 3 years to my great regret ...

So I went through the door of Tudor in the choice of my first luxury watch and being a fan of neo-vintage I admit it won me over
I find it simply sublime and even more so when worn
it is the daily watch par excellence and a real toolwatch in the genes, this watch is simply perfect
it even becomes complicated for my other watches because this one takes up all the space whether I am dressed for work or in casual mode or even in street wear it goes everywhere !!!!

the 39mm size is perfect and in tune with the times it will suit men as well as women, who would go through the gentleman's dressing room to simply steal your watch

From an external point of view for the uninitiated everyone finds it sublime and they think it's a Rolex

only flaw for me because yes this BB 58 needed one
the lack of quick adjustment on this bracelet. the famous T-Fit is a real lack on this watch

to change its look a little I think I will buy in the future the Black and gold Nato bracelet as well as a Khaki colored Rubber which I think can suit it perfectly


My daily watch, queen of days and nights

Being influenced by Joao, the youtuber who also owns this watch, I bought it. It fits my small wrist very well and the clasp of the steel bracelet exudes quality, softness with its micro ceramic balls and security. In addition to being a little adventurer, it is elegant thanks to the fine teeth of its bezel, the subtle mix of black, gold and off-white and its very classic shape. For me it is already a timeless icon despite its young age.

My little baby

It is a really nice watch on the wrist. I specify it but it is a little anecdotal it keeps the time perfectly. The blue of the dial is really pure which makes all its beauty in my eyes. The indexes are of an excellent finish as well as for the hands which are a signature of the brand. The bezel recalls the color of the dial and gives character the little extra is the sound which is reminiscent of that of a safe. The bracelet fits perfectly to the wrist even this chicken. The visual negative point is the false rivets which are found on the flanks of the links. It is an excellent watch in every way to my taste. I recommend

After having a crush during a test, I thought long and hard before taking the plunge (6 months). My doubts were related to the brand itself: was it just a fad with a nice ad or really a quality product? I finally decided to go for it and I did well. It's the watch I wear most often among all the ones I have. It is discreet, with perfect proportions, and is suitable for work, weekends and the beach, without being too flashy. The brushed appearance of the bracelet is very pleasant, and the choice of this blue is perfect. The shades that appear in the sun, with very discreet glitter on the green and red dial, almost give an "oil" effect. The bezel, the same color as the dial, patinates differently and adds a certain charm compared to the ceramic bezels which remain almost unchanged. The contrast with the affixed indexes surrounded by white gold brings a really finished and rather "chic" look. In short, rush before production of this color stops!

Neovintage with perfect proportions

Apart from the snowflake hand, the BB58 has almost all the markers of the sub 6536/1. The price is reasonable considering the characteristics. It exudes Rolex quality. Perfect? Almost in my opinion, but I have trouble with the snowflake hand which lacks a little elegance/finesse. Very comfortable on the handles and good precision.
