The 7924 is one of the first references that were issued to the French Navy and this is the case of my copy that was used in Toulon. The contained diameter and the large winder give these first Submariners a raw side, an incredible presence on the wrist that is reinforced here by the "tropical" dial. A piece of history and an essential watch.
