This Gmt master 2 is a versatile watch because it can be worn at any time and with any outfit. As much for a dressy outfit as just for going swimming since it is waterproof and there I am not afraid to wear it. Precise and a timeless Gmt it is surely the one that I wear most often because in addition to that, despite a few knocks the very resistant steel of Rolex is perfect. The proportions are also perfect. And for me a gmt master 2 is on an oyster bracelet, it is too blingbling on the jubilee bracelet, the jubilee goes well with a datejust.. In short it is a timeless watch that we can never get tired of! Luckily I bought it new in 2017 like the skydweller in 2018 and I waited only a few months I think 1 month even for this one before it was the speculation to this point today. I didn't choose it as an investment object but because I liked it, however it is sometimes annoying when people see you as a speculator, when that is not the case at all.

Timeless, versatile and sturdy!

For me, this chronograph is one of the greatest chronographs. Both classy and sporty, it manages to link the two perfectly. This is the latest model with the visible movement, for me it is important because it is the manufactured movement, it is also very successful. I like the blue indexes and the crocodile leather strap of the same tone. I will not know why to tell you, but for me it is the watch to have in the genre. I find the light silver dial slightly sandblasted perfect. A future icon!

A legendary dress chrono!

At first, I wasn't really convinced by the Reverso.. Square watches aren't necessarily my cup of coffee, by the way. But I really fell in love with this icon thanks to its blue dial with purple highlights (yes, look closely!), its GMT, and its other white guilloche side. The bracelet is also very neat and pretty. A future icon, this Tribute Duoface blue/purple dial! It also has its place in the collection, it's part of the best of Jaeger, I must admit the ingenious concept, brilliant success, and I like the two 2 o'clock faces. Especially being a great traveler, a dressy side is more rare for a GMT!

Surprising!

The first watch in my collection, I really wanted to treat myself and buy a speed but a classic model that everyone has. And in the end I came across this extraordinary watch. Thanks to the watch seller who is now the director, I have become a real enthusiast! This Speedmaster has a satin ceramic bezel with a matte chrome nitride tachymeter scale. The dial is also in polished black ceramic, and this full ceramic side has two advantages: super light, it is super comfortable to wear, and never any scratches! With blackened counter rings applied at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and very successful applied indexes in ash-colored 18K white gold. I really liked the bracelet: in nylon with a ceramic folding clasp, it is magnificent! Finally, the movement is very pretty, in turbine and with a comfortable power reserve, it has everything to please! Just the price, ouch, it has increased 13,000 today. But as they say, when you love something, you don't count!

My first prestige watch

The story of this watch and me dates back to 2017, the year it was released. At the time, I had a Datejust in 41 with the same dial color. I fell head over heels in love with the Sky! Why? Firstly, because I had grown tired of this Datejust without a fluted bezel, so I love its fluted bezel, and then, I find that the assembly between the second time zone, the cyclops magnifying glass, the red index that announces the month, and the little arrow that announces the reference time is very balanced! I really love the complication. Automatically differentiating months of 30 days from those of 31 days, the annual calendar, called Saros, is powered by a patented mechanism and is distinguished by an innovative display: the months of the year are marked by twelve windows around the dial, the current month is indicated in red. The date change, instantaneous, is linked to local time. And on top of that, the adjustment is done for each piece of information by turning the bezel, child's play! No other watch has this system! It's simply perfect for me. The color, the easy-to-adjust strap in case of high heat and the complication, it's surely the watch that I would keep among my entire collection if I had to choose one!

The Rolex of my dreams…

Simply perfect! The first time I saw this watch, I stumbled upon it by chance in my usual AD and I saw a customer who tried it on at the end of 2019, beginning of 2020, and there I lingered over it, asked the price, tried it on and there it was, love at first sight. Even before we talked about investment because this watch had become very sought after and also by investors... Anyway, at the time we were already looking at a price of over 28,000 euros... And I didn't think I would go for it, I was also a little younger. And as it turns out, in the end we all come back to our favorites! Magnificent dial, the alliance of the second hour with the tip of Red and black also really pleased me. What I like: the attention to detail, the magnificent movement with an almost perfect caliber for me, and the sense of perfection (Geneva hallmark) and also the know-how and a really beautiful Maltese cross case! In addition to this, it is a case resistant to electromagnetic fields, a 3-day power reserve, 3 interchangeable bracelets, beautiful steel, leather and rubber, very practical for summer and very pretty. A super versatile watch, a dual time zone, the perfect watch!

A big favorite

I bought this Calatrava in October 2021, delivery October 2022 by chance, "only" 1 year delay. A welcome at Patek worthy of a great watchmaking house. For me, this watch is the accomplishment of everything. Indeed, Patek is already one of the most beautiful brands of fine watchmaking for me, with impeccable know-how and quality. Why the Calatrava 6119G? A big favorite already, when I saw it as an exhibition model, a grandiose brushed silver dial, a "clou de paris" white gold bezel punched with a diamond, a work of art! The small seconds in a small window is perfectly placed, and the indexes are magnificent on three sides, a simply meticulous design, the sense of detail is there, we are at Patek. Then a movement with visible mechanical winding because for me it is important to see the mechanism.

A grandiose Calatrava
