It was by chance during my wanderings on the net that I came across this reissue of this famous skindiver, known for having been worn at the time by a certain Neil Armstrong during his test flights for NASA: the brand's storytelling is well-honed and has managed to capture my attention. Beyond the pure marketing effect, I must admit that I very quickly appreciated the look of this watch: it is simple and extremely readable, I really like the typography of the indexes as well as the good charge of Super-Luminova that they carry: watch your eyes at night! The little bonus of this watch: the unidirectional rotating bezel that allows you to follow a 2nd time zone. Without being a great traveler, it is nice to have this function (which requires a little training to be tamed) to escape a little from your office :-). Although it is of modest design (reworked Miyota caliber), the quality is there, the finishes are excellent and the dimensions are perfect (40mm in diameter). I preferred to change the original Bund bracelet with the brand's Milanese mesh, very flexible and very comfortable to wear. In summary, a pretty little watch for every day that is a real favorite for me.

Wolbrook (Douglas) Skindiver WT Professional (reissue)

This is a very pretty dress watch, which combines modernity, classicism and poetry. I am attached to this brand because it is with Oris that I began my watchmaking adventure. I discovered this model by chance and I was immediately seduced and intrigued by these new features that presented themselves to my eyes: the pointer date hand, the moon phase complication of course, the small invisible pushers that allow you to adjust the whole thing. It didn't take me long to decide to acquire it. It has a special place in my collection because it is my first watch more complicated than a simple 3 hands. Although a little large, I particularly appreciate its proportions and the clarity of its dial. All the inscriptions are very clear and readable, the attention to detail is important: faceted and polished indexes, luminescence on the hands and indexes, a beautiful bright moon... Pretty reflections appear on the silver dial. The flange is dressed with a beautiful minute track without forgetting at the back a sapphire crystal that reveals the movement a little worked all the same (and which has its little effect). I prefer this model to the Oris Artelier complication which is for my taste too 'classic'. The Artix shines just the right amount, without being too ostentatious: it is a pleasure to let your gaze wander on the golden face of this Moonwatch.

Passionate about the world of watches on the one hand and space on the other, I try to focus my collection on the space/aero theme. I came across this brand and this model by chance, during my readings and research on the internet. (Big up to the sites Moonwatch.fr and CDA). The photos in the ad immediately seduced me: I immediately loved its design, the typo' of the indexes, the play of colors chosen, the balance of the dial, the chrono side like on the speedmaster... On its site, the brand explains that it has sent its models on many space missions: I was trapped 🤪! 100% impulse purchase! It's a watch that I wear very regularly, the perceived quality is excellent, with lots of little details. It is very pleasant to wear, to handle, to wind. Despite its dimensions (diam.42, ep.15), this model doesn't look huge on my chicken wrist I think 🐔. It is sporty and classy enough to be worn in any circumstance. The original leather strap is of very good quality. I recently swapped the signed pin buckle for a butterfly clasp from the brand for the sake of comfort, safety and to preserve the strap. So, it is really perfect 😉.

A chrono in the stars: Fortis Classic Cosmonaut

Reissue of Neil Armstrong's watch from the time he was a test pilot, a very vintage skin diver style look with its transformed myiota mechanical caliber, it has all the arguments to make it attractive, American brand but made in France, it sits perfectly on the wrist, in short I absolutely do not regret my choice.
