"They do anything other than razors?" I was told in a watch shop when I showed my wrist... Hello first impression.

I got this watch back from my grandfather who wore a Vacheron Constantin as another watch, yes I lost the draw.

I wore it little at first and then I found a shop (other than the one I originally bought) that offered to contact the brand to give them back their original strap and off we went!

Since then I have particularly cherished it for its sleek design, its heritage and its finesse.

They don't just make razors!

Another favorite that was easy to fall for. I came across an ad for this tank in a condition far from new, of course, but full of charm and still as legendary.
It's a safe choice and yet quite original in terms of its shape, alloy, color...

After a few months I'm delighted with it and I'm not the only one to enjoy it since I can lend it to my girlfriend.

Here's an argument to justify this indulgence!

Really a must

An impulse purchase at first that actually became a love at first sight.
We love new watches in stores, but I really wanted to treat myself to a vintage one for the charm, the history and for a lower price.
My eye quickly fell on an Omega to have a watch from a big brand at a price that has nothing to do with today's.
So I started looking and looking... In the end, it was by chance on a Facebook group that I came across this little Geneva in very good condition and which does not look like all the other Genevas with this blue dial.

My first vintage

Watches with an integrated bracelet I have seen a lot, I have tried a lot but I have never found the one I like until! Well until I just bought another watch and I came across an ad for this little Zenith. So it was not the right time but it was love at first sight and I fell for it without really looking into it without being afraid of not being able to try it on without being afraid of its condition. It arrived I fell in love and since then it has been the little jewel of my young collection. Received in impeccable condition with box and paper I was also delighted to have a piece from a historic house.

The watch of my 18th birthday! It's the watch I'll never forget, it's so simple but for a long time it's the only watch I've worn and I've almost never gotten tired of it. It's simple by its dial, black, Arabic numerals, its hands... But I've never gotten tired of it thanks to its little details, the bezel, a little red on the second hand, the work on the crown, the sapphire back... Over time I first broke the first strap then changed it for another one from the brand that I don't like anymore and today this nato suits her perfectly but I think she deserves much better (I already have a little idea coming soon). In short, it's the watch that has the most sentimental value and a brand that I love.

Simple but different

Discovered by chance on YouTube, I was immediately impressed by the characteristics of this watch. Waterproof 500 meters, Swiss made, a case with a sandblasted finish of the most beautiful effect and so on, all for less than 1000 euros. I ended up cracking and I was even more surprised when I received it and I was able to realize the quality of the finishes. A great diver with a vintage look that stands out from the others and that can be worn on lots of bracelets, the pretty leather on which it is delivered (and a buckle works !!), a nato, a rubber (Orange that snaps with the needle!).

New but vintage

The Zenith brand was created in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, Switzerland. A pioneer in Swiss watchmaking in the creation of a true vertically integrated manufacture, Zenith aimed to create the most precise watch of its time at the best price. Over the years, it has established itself as a benchmark for precision and expertise in many fields.
In 1899, the marque Zenith presents its first pocket chronograph and wins various prizes, including first prize at the Paris Motor Show. In order to save these calibers from destruction, Charles Vermot hid cams, cutting tools, presses and machines, while recording the production process in a small notebook, secretly hoping for the return of mechanical movements. It was only nine years later that Zenith returned to the hands of Swiss investors who revived the brand's mechanical movements such as the El Primero.

Zenith Surf, New from stock, from the 90s with a 2572pc manufacture caliber. I fell for this watch at the first Lyon watch fair in Saint Germain au mont d'or at the end of October! 
A small Zenith, blue dial, very simple with a date. It was love at first sight, although it is only 34mm, but it is sublime and it is a Zenith! And this blue dial, these applied indexes, the old logo on the dial and the crown, its straight horns, I am delighted. I didn't think I would one day be able to afford a timepiece from such a prestigious manufacturer. Well I am not very objective.

The beautiful blue!

I bought this little Zenith online on a misunderstanding. Sold new from stock, it was, Zenith label on the bracelet, and protection still in place on the bottom of the case. Only problem I had not realized that I had bought a "women's" size watch (my fault!) When I realized my mistake I told myself that it was not lost to everyone. My wife enjoyed it until a necessary revision (the first of her life probably). After 40 years this is understandable. It has now left with its beautiful ETA Hi beat caliber (4hz is not bad!) A beautiful little original watch worn quite rarely by my wife but which is worth the detour. I found it a small period case as a complement and I fitted a blue UG bracelet in place of the original black Zenith.
