"This one will save your life in the Amazon", that's what the seller told me when I told him I was looking for a SeaWolf. It was while searching for the latter that I came across this model on the watch exchange. After some hesitation, I let myself be seduced by this Zodiac that I didn't know that much about at the time. It's a model that dates from the 60s, reference 752-925 equipped with a Zodiac manufacture Caliber 75 according to my research. This watch struck me with its format, it has a compact shape with a diameter of 35 mm and remains thin. This gives it a very pleasant wearing comfort and allows it to be adapted to all kinds of styles and occasions. Its sunray dial and bidirectional bezel sparkle in the light and invite you to sunbathe with it. Furthermore, not being a particular fan of two-tone bezels, I am delighted with the uniformity of this version, this sort of monochrome steel/silver goes very well with this bracelet. The GMT mechanism works quite simply with a 4th hand scrolling in 24 hours and the orientation of the bezel according to your time zone. We will also note the presence of a second stop, to guarantee you perfect synchronization on a mission ;), and a date to adjust in the old way. However, I would advise you not to approach the water during your adventures, unlike the Seawolf this model does not have a screwed-down caseback and the crown (this one unfortunately not being the original one) is not screwed down either. It is a watch that I love to wear for all types of occasions, this model in particular would deserve a revision to be able to really attest to its precision. Its finesse also questions its real robustness, but since Zodiac were distributed within American bases I imagine that it had the opportunity to prove itself. Besides, the brand is still popular across the Atlantic, which is rather practical for searching for information. In conclusion, it is a beautiful vintage GMT full of charm that is worth considering for those looking for an adventurous watch that is out of the ordinary at a still reasonable price.
