Breitling Navitimer 8 Chronographe Owner Review : Readable, symbolic and legit

A big fan of Breitling in general and of aviation, the classic Navitimer model is certainly iconic but too busy for me. And in 2020, I came across this model! From the first collection reinterpreted by Breitling upon the arrival of Mr. Kern in 2017, the collection under the name NAVITIMER 8 was reborn. This model seemed like a no-brainer for me. A neo-retro look, an aviation chronograph like in the 30s/40s, incredible accuracy and visibility—in short, I never tire of it! A rather rare and little-known model that ultimately deserves attention, but the new AVI 8 collection quickly overshadowed it. I bought it pre-owned in perfect condition with the leather and metal strap, B01 movement, date window at 4:30, COSC, size 44mm. In short, a REAL Breitling, despite what some people might say. The only drawback is a 23mm lug width, which isn't common for straps. A minor setback following a fall, the chronograph broke, but it was fully covered by Breitling's warranty and no special documentation was required. Excellent after-sales service, but a bit slow...
