I wonder what got into me when I bought this Casio G-Shock. It's probably my geeky and gadget-loving side, and God knows this Casio is full of them! Powered by solar energy, radio-controlled for unparalleled accuracy in any time zone, with a crazy LED lighting and plenty of other features that I still have yet to discover! What is it doing in my collection of mechanical watches? That's a big question. For example, the dial is exceptionally deep! I rarely wear it, but it's always a pleasure to put it back on my wrist when I'm gardening or tinkering... It's undoubtedly the most durable watch I have ever tried, and I have a hard time imagining anything more indestructible ;-)

I was looking for a cheap tool watch, and I came across this CASIO by chance. I liked its little diver's watch side, especially since it had been seen on the wrist of Bill Gates. This little Casio is not very impressive, it is a superb little quartz watch to wear every day. The budget to acquire it is very limited, even tiny. I really enjoy wearing it, just like my pieces from a great watchmaker. This Tiffany blue is fashionable and it is very beautiful on this dial.

I present to you my Casio Duro Marlin with the marlin on the dial and on the case back, because now and for a long time it is no longer found in this configuration in France and in Europe... I have had this diver for years and apart from changing the battery every three years I have never had a problem I am very attached to it, it is solid and robust and even with the 43mm diameter with its rounded and short horns it does not shock the wrist, it has a screwed crown and its water resistance is 20 ATM

The Casio A168WA-1YES was one of my first watches, and it continues to be one of the most worn in my collection. Despite the years and the many watches I have acquired since then, this Casio remains a timeless model that still fascinates me today. Watch that I have had since 1998, it is a quartz chronograph with 3 analog sub-counters for seconds, minutes and 24-hour display, and a small multi-function digital screen at 3 o'clock. The chrome-plated brass case is 40mm in diameter and 11.5mm thick. The blue dial is very beautiful, well worked with applied numeral indexes, there is a very pretty backlight that is activated with the pusher at 2 o'clock. We find all the usual functions of a digital Casio in addition to the analog display, we can choose to display on the digital screen the date, the time that can be set independently of the hands but with synchronization of the second, the hundredth of a second of the chrono... There are 3 pushers at 10 o'clock, 8 o'clock, and 2 o'clock and a crown at 4 o'clock. A rotating compass bezel in both directions. A 5-link folded steel bracelet. I have worn this watch a lot, I find it very beautiful, practical and super solid, the battery life is between 1 and 2 years. Waterproof to 100m.

Casio G-Shock GA-2100HD-8AER...once again, trapped by one of the variations of this GA2100 series...there are so many. But this one caught my eye, a little more. Mouse gray strap and case, white background which makes excellent readability. It seems that at night the lume is great. to be seen later. And above all the quality, reliability and solidity of Casio. Really happy with my purchase. Finally, it fits very well on my 18 cm wrist.
