Looking for a watch with a military past, I looked for a model with a heritage. Many brands met my criteria. Unfortunately, the historical models were out of my budget. That's when I discovered Auricoste and particularly the Spirotechnique. The military past of this brand spoke to me. The multiple partnerships with French and foreign military authorities seduced me. Not to mention the fabulous history of the Spirotechnique which worked to make diving accessible. The Spirotechnique is a diving watch, waterproof to 300m. For me it represents a perfect tribute to the original that equipped the French Navy. Its 42 mm "aircraft carrier" shaped case with its fully brushed crown at 4 o'clock affirms a certain solidity. The matte black dial is really made to have the best readability and the white painted indexes make the task easier. Finally, the good-sized hands are perfectly adapted. The only flaw I noticed was a bit of play in the rotating bezel, but nothing prohibitive. The detail I love is easy....The Spirotechnique logo on the dial.

Hello Diver watches are, by far, my favorite watches. So, a few months ago, I acquired a Doxa aqualung limited edition. The opportunity for me to look a little into the history of Commander Cousteau and to remember the adventures of Jojo the grouper that rocked my childhood. Along the way, I also rediscovered the history of the Aqualung company/spirotechnology with their various collaborations with watch brands: Doxa therefore, but also Auricoste. I knew Auricoste more for its type 20 that I had the opportunity to discover at Stef's, but I continued to dig this lead. The re-edition of the Spiro Auricoste in its simplest version seemed interesting to me in its characteristics and in its specificities: the crown at 4 o'clock, the diver on the dial, the case back, the water resistance, the crown with the logo...
