It was again on JC's advice that the idea came to me to register on a Kick starter made by a watch creator that is Watch angel.
The collaboration with Cedric Bellon was unexpected.
The theme of a watch with a very pure design with recycled materials and tools speaks to me. In addition, sourcing Soprod movements with GMT complication lit the fuse.
Finally, this sandwich dial is magnificent.

How: thanks to a certain Mrs. Vallée from the Dubail boutique Place Vendome who found my email and my fairly specific request.

Emotion: a sublime watch but once again not assumed. the dial too thing, the bracelet not the size. but that was without counting on the top after-sales service of GP: "sir, we have never found the perfect fit for each of our customers". and after sending the 2 additional links. the combination was perfect and the bracelet adjusted.

Emotion: watch not assumed the first 3 months by its price (3200 euros) so much I did not think that it was reasonable compared to my parents, friends or people in general.
I did not leave it for 10 years.

When I was an intern

A jewel this case with 38 mm diameter and 11 mm thickness. A very well decorated manufacture caliber with the dead second complication. A blue dial with a cross in the center to perfect the balance. A very modern brown strap for an iconic watch. A gold oscillating weight. A jewel of great watchmaking.

Here is my latest acquisition, ordered in June 2022, and received… last May! But the crowdfunding system has its good points: in addition to the win/win financing, it allows you to learn patience, to control your stamping (yes, the word exists!) and to experience the big day with tension and then delight! Here of course, it is the all-raw steel dial that irresistibly attracts the eye, with its originality and its countless and powerful reflections. The delicately polished chamfer is a detail that I particularly like. Its dimensions are… perfect (for my wrist at least!): 39mm in diameter, 47mm from lug to lug, 11.8mm thick, weight of 90gr (on leather strap); and then superluminova (old radium color) on sandwich-style sub-dial, date and GMT complications, AR sapphire crystal, 20atm, very well-regulated Swiss Soprod C125 movement, Swiss made, all in a limited edition. A big thank you to its very talented designer and creator!

The brand Ollech &amp; Wajs was created in 1956 by Joseph Ollech and Albert Wajs in Zurich, Switzerland.
