I didn't see myself wearing a gold world but the rose gold of this Certina convinced me otherwise. Its small second and the beginning of a Bambi patina finished convincing me. The transition to a midnight blue bracelet suits it perfectly. The indexes are just the index at 6 o'clock is the only negative note on the piece for me.

It could have been that of Umberto Boccioni's Man in Motion (if he had arms). This watch by its dimensions deserves a solid wrist, it remains nevertheless light and comfortable. Only regret its luminescence is modest. With a NATO Omega 007 bracelet it gains in timelessness.

For a few years now, my passion for watches has been growing. No more buying Festina, Lotus or Rodania ... to change it after 2 years max. For 2 years I have loved automatic watches even if I am not against quartz. I find it fascinating to measure something abstract by a concrete "tool" made by man. The complexity of a mechanical movement is really exciting. My real first automatic watch is a Seiko SRPD that I find really well finished. The watch is powered by the famous Powermatic 80 with as the name says 80 hours of power reserve, I can leave it on the dresser on Friday evening and pick it up again on Monday morning and it still works. It is a watch that can be worn in all circumstances, with leather it is a dress Watch and just by changing the bracelet for a steel or rubber one it becomes a chic sport.

I bought this watch after a life change and almost at the time of my father's death. I went to the store with my best friend, which makes it a watch that gives me a lot of emotions. Certina DS Action GMT powermatic 80 black khaki. 43mm. I like it all the more because it is not common

This watch is a sure bet. Discreet, subtle, qualitative, with formidable precision (mine is COSC), it is elegant while being sporty, timeless and quite confidential (in France at least because it is not distributed there). For the price paid abroad (less than €500 for me), it is simply unbeatable given what it offers.

Classically designed, this three-hand watch with date is ideal for starting a collection. Mainly intended for the northern European market, the Certina brand, belonging to the Swatch Group, is more confidential in France than Hamilton or Tissot for watches in this category. I discovered the DS1 model (and the Certina brand) in I don't know which annual watch magazine from the 2010s and I was seduced by its design (at the time I only swore by black dial watches in a dress style... I have since broadened my spectrum). I chose it with a leather strap with a folding clasp. What I really like about this watch is the proportions of the case with a fairly thin bezel that gives a nice presence to the matte black dial. I also like the design of the dial without numbers, just with the raised indexes. The finishes are very correct, we are on classic Swiss Made: Sapphire glass, open back on the movement with a nice treatment of the oscillating weight in black PVD which recalls the color of the dial. In the end a very endearing little watch to use the words of Maxime who had presented it during a Dual Time on the channel.

This is my very first Swiss automatic watch. Acquired at the very beginning of my passion for watchmaking, I wanted a reliable watch, mounted on a steel bracelet and which has a sporty chic look. Whether mounted on a steel bracelet, a leather or a nato, it is very versatile and pleasant to wear. Its 80-hour power reserve thanks to the Powermatic80 caliber is appreciable. Certina is too little known in France but nevertheless has all the qualities that can be found in its sister Tissot since both are part of the Swatchgroup. Its 40mm diameter makes it a watch that remains discreet on the wrist and this is one of the reasons for my choice. I also wanted a watch with a black dial and a date but nicely designed. The applied indexes give more relief to the dial knowing that it is itself slightly domed. The case back is transparent and therefore shows the Powermatic80 caliber. When I got it, I was very happy because it was my first watch with a transparent back. In reality, with time, you realize that the movement is not beautiful enough to be shown. But it's fun!

Small dress watch from the Certina brand with its small second and its 28-10 manufacture caliber from the 50s/60s, small diameter of 34 mm, I love this watch, so elegant and quite thin, it is in fantastic condition given its age, just the plexiglass has been changed to allow you to see this sublime slightly ivory dial, I hope the photos will show it off because in real life it is magnificent!!!!

A real city killer Omega Seamaster! What a pleasure to wear it.. A reasonable diameter for those who, like me, are in the chicken wrist team. A sober but hyper efficient case.. Everything is there, the indexes are elegant and the dial is generously domed, to the point of confusing the autofocus of cameras! I bought it on the good corner from an elderly gentleman who had left it for 25 years in a drawer and only asked me for 120 euros. I measured it at +2sec per day.. If the quality of Certina watches from this era was still to be proven... A pretty crazy price / pleasure ratio! Bonus: the plane and the "new art" font on the case back... deliciously vintage, certainly an extra chic soul!
