Charlie Paris Concordia Owner Review : Robust, versatile and superb

Hello, I own a Charlie Paris Concordia Toundra. The model is second generation. Why this model? I practice mountaineering and this watch completely gave me the feeling of having snow on my wrist. Indeed, its textured white dial is totally reminiscent of the surface of a snow cover. This sensation is reinforced by the metallic side of the general appearance of the watch which gives a frozen appearance. You have understood the winter universe is the DNA of this model. It is nevertheless part of the Concordia range, it perfectly takes up the characteristics of the family but clearly displays that it is different. Its dial, therefore white, is pleasantly luminous thanks to its texture which reflects the light in a very particular way. A depth effect is added thanks to the white raised indexes, surrounded by a metallic outline. The different inscriptions are also in grayish colors as well as the railroad. The hands reflect the light and have a touch of white in their centers, the second hand takes up the graying of the writing. The date face is also white, this allows the date window to blend into the dial but without making it go unnoticed. The iconic crown of the model is repeated here, but with the edging this time in dark gray to match the inscriptions on the watch. The case face is with sapphire crystal (characteristic of the second generation), this allows you to admire the automatic mechanism of the watch. It is a diver/sports watch, which has the qualities of robustness and admirable finish, but it is also very versatile, it can be worn on any occasion (I think, thanks to its white dial). I will not review these technical characteristics, it takes up all the criteria of the Concordia. My watch is on a steel bracelet, which completes the whole very well, giving it an adventurous and luminous appearance, but I must admit that it weighs down the whole. It has few faults for me (love at first sight) but I can perhaps note a lack of luminosity in the dark only at the level of the hands and the absence of luminescence on the bezel in the dark (the traditional point of a diver's watch). This model is an important piece in my small collection, it is completely qualitative and the price is really very competitive in my opinion.
