Another gift with this Charlie Concordia Toundra very different from my other watch - see my review on the SYE silver chronograph. More robust in appearance as well as in terms of feel, heavier in particular which I appreciate. I had the opportunity to swim with it this summer and it is a strange sensation made of excitement at the idea of not leaving it underwater and worry of seeing it take on water and ruining it. No risk it is waterproof to 300 meters ;-) What I appreciate most in this watch is its strange dial - I understood by reading the brand's website - that it represented the text of the snow... Being a fan of snowboarding it speaks to me. Last but not least, mine has a very nice engraving on the back which no longer seems to be offered by the brand.

Beautiful all-terrain watch

Charlie Paris-Concordia South Pole expedition, 2nd edition numbered with STP 1-11 movement. The specifications and the history that gave birth to this great watch are enough to recall the greatest days of Rolex. Designed for a 1150km expedition in the polar cold of Antarctica, it will be able to face all situations while maintaining a certain French elegance that also allows it to be worn during major events. One of the best French watches

Superb watch, all terrain! Original and elegant but also very robust, I wear it for all my outdoor activities without fear. Despite a weight a little high at first glance, it is ultimately the reflection of an exceptional finish. Favorite for this watch with an unbeatable quality/price ratio.

Original and versatile

I have had this Charlie Paris for a few months now and I have to say that of all my watches it is the prettiest ... A very beautiful finish, a perfect size, excellent precision, robust and what can I say about this smoky brown on the edges ... Warm it makes you want to sit in a wooded setting on a Chesterfield in front of a fireplace A glass in hand. A faultless one for me!

Charlie Warm

I present to you the Charlie Paris Concordia quartz, a very well made 38 mm unisex watch. I really like the black dial as well as the case and the mirror-polished bezel. It is also worth noting the work done on this superb crown as well as the engraving on the case back which refers to Matthieu Tordeur's Antarctic expedition. But I bought this watch for its quartz movement, the Seiko VH31 sweep second which simulates the movement of a self-winding second hand. It is also worth noting the 300 meter water resistance. To sum up, a watch at an attractive price that I can only recommend. Almost flawless!

Charlie Paris Concordia quartz 

Magnificent little Concordia model Nazaré quartz version. Here, the little one would like to pass for a big one and she almost succeeds. Under this slightly domed Sapphire crystal, hides a pretty smoked blue dial decorated with very sober but nevertheless elegant indexes and hands, all sublimated at night by a blue Superluminova of the most beautiful effect. But make no mistake, this little one has it in the belly despite its appearance. With its 30 bar of water resistance, it will accompany you in your best water sports sessions or more soberly your daily showers and your dips in the municipal swimming pool. Let's not forget the heart of the beast, a modest Seiko VH31 quartz movement which has the particularity of making the second hand beat 4 times per second, giving the illusion of a low-frequency mechanical movement, minus the worries of chronometry. Let's not forget to mention the case back magnificently engraved with a map of the reliefs of the underwater canyon of Nazaré. The bracelets deserve to be well built and all have the significant advantage of being equipped with a quick pump to change the bracelet at will, including the steel bracelet which is also equipped with 4 micro-adjustments. You will have understood that this modest quartz has nothing to envy a great mechanic.

It's beautiful, robust and elegant, it's French

This Charlie Paris Concordia is an important milestone in my watchmaking journey. I discovered the brand a bit by chance, first attracted by the darkest model, Kraken. And then I saw this green dial with gold accents, love at first sight.

Thanks to this timepiece, I understood and learned about my tastes in watchmaking, I like green, the sunray dial, the applied indexes, the proportions of the case, the luminescent running indicator on the second hand, the date at 6 o'clock.

The brand offers a lot for its price, the Soprod P024 movement is super well adjusted, precise, the whole is really very well finished, remarkable and noticed, I received a lot of compliments while wearing it. Since then the logo has changed, for the better I think, I had nothing against the stork, the applied C really makes it more sophisticated and elegant.

To finish what I like less, the pump lugs of the steel bracelet which are a little too prominent, the grip of the crown, I really can't get used to it, the grip is complicated for me.
The areas of improvement of the model would be an upgrade with a movement that would offer more power reserve and a better anti-reflective coating to enjoy the magnificent dial even more.

Customer service experience note: I noticed almost 6 months after buying it that the dial was offset by not much, but it meant that the markers on the bezel were not aligned. I contacted the brand who took care of it in less than a week everything was fixed. A super efficient customer service, I know that if I have the slightest problem I can count on them and that is very important to me.


Falling for something

Super versatile summer watch. Very neo vintage design, quite similar to a Tudor black bay 36mm. A dial with a super bright luminova in the dark. Ideal size for me (38mm), screwed crown and back (30ATM). The super surprise for people who don't like the movement of quartz hands is the Seiko VH31 sweep second movement which gives the illusion of an old mechanical watch. Well finished case, serious bracelet even if not super original (oyster type). The little Antarctic engraving on the back of the case, very nice. All that for €330. With a beautiful perlon or leather depending on the mood, the watch really works well in many circumstances

The Concordia, a watch that gives a lot for its price

I discovered this brand and this model on the StartupHeures show on Dialicious thanks to Xavier who hosted Charlie's designer and presented this model designed to accompany an explorer to the South Pole in total autonomy for more than 1,000km for 2 months. Suffice to say that it is robust with technical characteristics that can compete with a large number of beautiful brands that are much more expensive and yet the design has not been sacrificed down to the smallest details (thin aluminum bezel, colored insert in the crown). >all this makes it a perfect watch for all times with in addition quick attachments that allow you to alternate the bracelets (metal, leather, fabric ...) Small cock-a-doodle-doo for this made in France (integrating a Swiss movement) which is now available in several dial colors and in automatic version like this one or quartz. Finally what pushed me to add it to my collection after watching Xavier's show, well ... I was the winner of the draw !!! Thanks again Dialicious and Xavier, a very nice gift that I have been promoting around me since the beginning because it deserves it.

Versatile and delivers on its promises

Very nice watch! Super comfortable to wear, exceptional finish, feeling of solidity from the first glance, ... everything is there! The full black dial is superb with a slight impression of smoked glass, it is ultimately very luminous. The screw-down crown seems indestructible and waterproof. Unbeatable quality / price ratio. It is the watch that does everything par excellence.

Fall for the Kraken!

What a nice surprise to see the finish of this Concordia, fine, pleasant to wear and to look at. And I am all the more delighted that it bears the number 021, it is one of the first. It nevertheless deserves a little adjustment to adjust its loss of time of about 20 seconds per day.

Endearing

Looking for a diving watch, I stumbled upon the Concordia collection by chance, while wandering around the internet. A little wary at first because of a rather ordinary design, I discovered a rather enterolithic collection with different models and different calibers. I am sure now that what seduced me was the dial, which is very different from most of the divers that I have been able to compare, such as the BND MN or the Horloscaphe. Indeed, it is not only or not really white but also textured in an original way. Toundra is also a nice name that takes us somewhere other than the endless depths of the oceans! Beautiful finishes, beautiful baby too! I think it would perhaps gain (considering the size of my wrist) from being a little smaller and especially less thick... A beautiful diver who does the job

Hello, I own a Charlie Paris Concordia Toundra. The model is second generation. Why this model? I practice mountaineering and this watch completely gave me the feeling of having snow on my wrist. Indeed, its textured white dial is totally reminiscent of the surface of a snow cover. This sensation is reinforced by the metallic side of the general appearance of the watch which gives a frozen appearance. You have understood the winter universe is the DNA of this model. It is nevertheless part of the Concordia range, it perfectly takes up the characteristics of the family but clearly displays that it is different. Its dial, therefore white, is pleasantly luminous thanks to its texture which reflects the light in a very particular way. A depth effect is added thanks to the white raised indexes, surrounded by a metallic outline. The different inscriptions are also in grayish colors as well as the railroad. The hands reflect the light and have a touch of white in their centers, the second hand takes up the graying of the writing. The date face is also white, this allows the date window to blend into the dial but without making it go unnoticed. The iconic crown of the model is repeated here, but with the edging this time in dark gray to match the inscriptions on the watch. The case face is with sapphire crystal (characteristic of the second generation), this allows you to admire the automatic mechanism of the watch. It is a diver/sports watch, which has the qualities of robustness and admirable finish, but it is also very versatile, it can be worn on any occasion (I think, thanks to its white dial). I will not review these technical characteristics, it takes up all the criteria of the Concordia. My watch is on a steel bracelet, which completes the whole very well, giving it an adventurous and luminous appearance, but I must admit that it weighs down the whole. It has few faults for me (love at first sight) but I can perhaps note a lack of luminosity in the dark only at the level of the hands and the absence of luminescence on the bezel in the dark (the traditional point of a diver's watch). This model is an important piece in my small collection, it is completely qualitative and the price is really very competitive in my opinion.

Tundra Favorite

The luggage is packed, the kids are in the car and my Charlie Concordia Tundra automatic is ready to accompany me on vacation. Sun, beach, sea and maybe a bit of snorkeling are on the agenda with my Charlie Paris! I fell in love with this model 2 years ago - before the prices increased - for a watch that was easy to wear and that does the same job as many other more famous and much more expensive divers. I chose to take this one for the holidays, because it's a no-brainer! Functional, present on the wrist but not very recognizable, it ticks all the boxes of a daily watch for walking around quietly in all circumstances. No worries to report since I bought it, precision at the rendezvous even I never checked things exactly. 

A rubber strap would be a great plus because the fabric one is not comfortable. Too bad Charlie doesn't offer one on their site. Maybe for next summer 😎

Very pretty watch, with a dark blue. Beautiful aesthetics.
But crown difficult to handle and a face unscrewing not necessarily practical, requires to be used to using it.
Uni-directional rotating bezel hard to turn and grip not easy.
However, this watch has a great look, and I love the range, it just asks to be tamed and understood.

Pretty but not always practical

This watch absolutely ticks all the boxes for an adventurer's watch! Robust, reliable and really aesthetic all that at a really reasonable price. I recommend this watch without hesitation! The only negative points in my opinion are its crown which slightly impacts the comfort on the wrist (although it is sublime) and the transparent back which the new versions are equipped with, because the solid back like on mine are really sublime and reinforce this aspect of an adventurer's watch.

Built for adventure

Hello everyone, what can I say about this Toundra, seen for the first time on the Charlie Paris website on one of the brand's presentation photos.
So here I am with my first watch from the brand, it is not my favorite but yet it is the one I wear most often, I do not fear scratches, shocks.... simple and effective.
I change the bracelets from green to gray, it goes everywhere.
The only flaw is its crown which is not easy to feel when tightening and vice versa.
