Another gift with this Charlie Concordia Toundra very different from my other watch - see my review on the SYE silver chronograph. More robust in appearance as well as in terms of feel, heavier in particular which I appreciate. I had the opportunity to swim with it this summer and it is a strange sensation made of excitement at the idea of not leaving it underwater and worry of seeing it take on water and ruining it. No risk it is waterproof to 300 meters ;-) What I appreciate most in this watch is its strange dial - I understood by reading the brand's website - that it represented the text of the snow... Being a fan of snowboarding it speaks to me. Last but not least, mine has a very nice engraving on the back which no longer seems to be offered by the brand.

Beautiful all-terrain watch

My first Japanese. Powered by sunlight, robust and waterproof to 200m, it makes it the perfect watch for going on an adventure. I was able to use it during my last adventures, from scuba diving to mountain climbing, it has never disappointed me. In addition, I am always amazed by the power of the luminescence which makes reading simplistic.

Good complement to my other mechanical watches... No hassle for a robustness to all tests! Without a doubt my watch for this summer's holidays 😎

A symbol of exploration

I received this yellow Casio G-Shock as a gift during my vacation, and it quickly became much more than just a watch: it is my adventure partner. Whether for canoeing, jet skiing, fishing, or my intense sports sessions, it accompanies me everywhere, without ever failing. Its robustness is amazing: it has taken all the shocks without showing the slightest sign of weakness. I have even found myself underwater several times with it, and its waterproofness is impeccable. It's simple, I have never had to worry, it holds up in all situations.

And then, let's talk about its look! This bright yellow is a real favorite. Not only does it attract attention, but it also adds a touch of dynamism to all my outfits, whether in the middle of sports or on a daily basis.

In short, this G-Shock is much more than a watch, it is a real asset for all those who, like me, live their life at 100 miles an hour. A reliable, resistant, and stylish accessory that follows me everywhere. I can't do without it anymore...

The Yellow Diver

A birthday present from my parents for my 17th birthday, this chronograph watch has concretized a budding interest in watchmaking. A great gift for a gift to start in watchmaking, me who until then only had a Casio LCD and my phone. By dint of trying out these watches I got caught up in the game of trying to understand what mechanics could be hidden in these small objects. So I went to the brand's website to try to understand how the movement inside works. It's a hybrid between a battery-powered motor and a mechanical chronograph function called mecaquartz. Frankly I don't really care because it's beautiful, original according to my humble knowledge and above all very different from those I see at home. I'm lucky to have the steel bracelet in addition to the colored leather one that I don't like very much. The operation of changing the bracelet is nice but still a bit tedious... Moral: I almost exclusively wear it with the steel bracelet. The cherry on the cake is that, at 18 years old, my father often accuses me of it when we go on vacation.

My first mechanical watch

I am a big fan of vintage dive watches at a great price, and the LIP Super Nautic Ski is one of my favorites. I recently purchased mine and it already has a special place in my growing collection.

What I like most about this watch is its bold design for the time. The case is 42mm stainless steel, with a bi-directional rotating inner bezel and a black dial with luminescent hands and indices. It is a bit larger than most modern dive watches, but I find that this gives it a more imposing presence. The LIP Super Nautic Ski is also very robust and durable. It is water resistant to 200 meters, making it perfect for freediving and scuba diving.

This is all on paper because the indices have lost a lot of intensity and I obviously haven't done any water sports or diving because the water resistance must be average now! For now I haven't had to change the battery, it will come one day and I'm not worried about it.

I find it very elegant according to my personal criteria. It can be worn on all occasions in my engineering school or during the holidays. Jeans, a t-shirt, and my Super Nautic Ski. What else?

Love at first sight when I saw it during a trip to Japan, I was missing a black and white diver's watch.

Super comfortable to wear, it fits my small wrist perfectly, the rubber strap is less massive than my Citizen BN0226-10P, more flexible while giving off an impression of durability.

Very readable during the day, beautiful and durable blue luminescence, I don't have better in my collection.

Titanium, screw-down crown, water-resistant to 200 meters.

Very precise like all Citizen Eco-drives (maximum drift of 3 seconds per week).

For 180 euros, what more could you ask for?

It appeared with this white dial and a black dial on the Japanese site a month ago but is now only available in its black version which I like less. I haven't seen it on the French Citizen site.


Finally a watch that I want to take everywhere

The first analog watch I bought myself. Not being yet addicted to watches, I wasn't looking for a specific model, I wanted a green watch, solid and in a contained budget. 
A friend recommended the citizen brand to me, I was immediately attracted by this green promaster. 
For less than 200 bucks, we have a diver with an eco drive movement (solar), waterproof to 200m and with a screwed crown!
