Why customers love Doxa?

I bought this Doxa on Leboncoin at the beginning of my vintage craze. It was the second after the Stowa. In 20 micron gold plating, the case measures 33mm, is simple and extra flat, which makes it very comfortable to wear. All the charm of the watch lies in the dial. In addition to the small seconds at 6 o'clock, it has different textures that give it a certain elegance. On the other hand, the horns are in a catastrophic state (all twisted). In these conditions I would never have bought it today but in the end I am happy to have done so because I still wear it with so much pleasure 😁 If I am not mistaken, the movement is an ETA 2391 base that works wonderfully, I am amazed every time!! To sum up, even if I rarely wear it, I still take so much pleasure in wearing it and looking at it!

Hello everyone I am sharing with you today my opinion on this Doxa Army. I have now had the watch for 3 months and I can say that it is a real treat. I rarely take it off. Why the Doxa as a diver? It's simple, I wanted something other than the big brands that you find everywhere. We are really on something more intimate. I never get tired of its dial. It does not leave you indifferent when you meet other enthusiasts then This watch is made to live, it was already on vacation with me recently (at the sea), the case does not mark easily except the back which shows a few micro-scratches more quickly. A quick rinse with clear water to avoid salt accumulation. The dimensions are very good: - diameter 42.5mm - Thickness 11.95mm (compared to 13.65mm for the 300T) - Between lugs 20mm The bezel insert is in black ceramic. Very good readability in the dark. I put the watch through the timegrapher, it's impeccable, between 0/+1 second/day. It weighs 170gr on the steel bracelet (with a few fewer links). And 105gr on the BNO big hole vulcanized rubber bracelet For information, my wrist is rather flat and is 17.5cm. The only criticism I will make is its steel bracelet. Although very comfortable and the buckle very well designed. It is a little heavy for me.

This Doxa Aqua Lung is an unusual model because it is a limited series of 300 ex world. It is a Doxa Sub300 Carbon, so with a domed sapphire crystal that reduces the dial opening a little but gives it a superb vintage effect! It is automatic, water-resistant to 300 meters as its name suggests and COSCée. The contrast between the black carbon of the case and the dial with the rest of the watch (yellow of the hands, the Aqua Lung logo and the diving table, white of the indexes and inscriptions on the bezel) makes it a very easy watch to read, even if the dial seems busy. Thanks to its entirely carbon construction, it is extremely light and gains 30 g compared to the steel version equipped with the same type of bracelet / buckle assembly. Super comfortable. In addition, with its double adjustment buckle, you can adjust the bracelet to your wrist in increments of a few millimeters ... without removing the watch from your wrist and with disconcerting ease. Really great! It is sold on a black rubber strap and black buckle. But I much prefer the yellow rubber which gives it an incomparable punch with the full black. This is THE watch I took for my last vacation and it made me (almost) forget all the others..... A success!

Looking for a serious diver at a reasonable price, I started to look at the Doxa site and the Sub 300 before coming across the Sub 200 range, the most affordable and the black model, Sharkhunter. 42 mm, not too thick, a compact case, extremely well executed. A deep black dial, hyper readable with its hands and stick indexes. A pretty domed sapphire green which gives it a very pleasant vintage look. Hard to find fault with this watch. Hyper comfortable thanks to its very short lugs and its remarkable rice grain bracelet. All powered by an indestructible and precise ETA 2824-2 movement. Too bad it only allows 19 mm bracelets, the pumps very close to the dial also only allow Doxa bracelets, or custom-made…

A relatively simple and refined design, three hands, applied indexes, a patinated champagne dial/a little pitted in places and a nice gold plating, the recipe for happiness for me. All made by a historic brand like Doxa, it's frankly fascinating. I don't know the year of the watch but the movement (automatic) is in impeccable condition with a formidable precision of 5 seconds of drift per day!

I only had big chronographs with black backgrounds (Breitling, Speedmaster) and when my watchmaker offered me this little Doxa equipped with a Valjoux 23 movement, I immediately fell in love. White background, very flat, small in size, it gives the dressy side of a city watch while remaining a faithful and precise chronograph. I had it serviced and changed the bezel which was damaged and since then, it shows a drift of only a few seconds per day. Collectors change watches almost every day, while I wear them for long periods (two or three weeks in a row). I really love this little Doxa, very discreet and little known but which a few connoisseurs recognize. When I acquired it, my watchmaker also offered me a Rolex Datejust. Years later, I do not regret my choice, quite the contrary. I prefer a little originality while keeping a chronograph function.

A historic brand and a model as fresh as it is robust. The presence on the wrist is interesting with its 40mm and its crown at 4 o'clock. An irreproachable quality of finish on the case, the bracelet and the clasp. And what about the dial? A magnificent yellow and an asymmetry (brand/model) which gives it a crazy charm, I love it!
