This watch is designed by Luis Antonio, the designer of the very personal game "12 minutes". Honestly, I only played the video game after buying the watch. I hadn't played immersive psychological puzzle games for a long time. What brought me to this watch, if not the game, is the sleek design, the trigonometric sense and the transformable function of the watch, from pocket watch to wristwatch. It's original enough to capture my attention. The watch recalls the game and the stress of its repeated 12-minute time loop. But even if you haven't played this classic of the 10th art, the watch is intriguing enough to open up the imagination. The Belarusian brand Hvilina is known for its watches with a worked design for which it has already won several awards. This one does not disappoint. The readability is good. As always in a watch in the trigo sense, we must not get confused, but the second hand and the anthracite minute hand are clearly visible on a cream background. The only surprise comes from the minute hand which is camouflaged, except that a dark triangle on the tip indicates the direction of rotation and therefore allows us to locate this hour hand. Because basically the purpose of the watch is the minutes, not the hours. The game lasts 12 minutes. 12 minutes before dying. 12 minutes that must be changed in order not to die. And then the Hvilina brand is the "minute" in Ukrainian and Belarusian which do not have the Latin root, minutus, as in French or Russian, but truly Slavic. This is why it is the minute hand that stands out. It is not annoying, quite the contrary, because when you look at your watch it is generally not to check the date, the day, or the hours, the seconds, but the minutes. How many minutes do I have left in the game, how many minutes before my appointment ends, how many minutes before I reach my destination, how many minutes before the recess bell rings? "How many minutes?" is the real question everyone asks, just like in the game, except that in real life there are sixty minutes, not twelve. The music I would associate with this watch is Jean Louis Murat's cover of Gérard Manset's song "entrez dans le rêve". Because there is a dreamlike aspect to walking backwards, the obsessive, distressing and hypnotic stress of the atmosphere of the game "12 minutes". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkgBxWFa3IQ Adjectives: playful, dreamlike, minimalist, true, thought, thoughtful, transformable, hypnotic
