First automatic watch I bought for my 25th birthday, I was looking for a rather elegant and refined watch. While I knew almost nothing about the codes and depth of watchmaking in which I would gradually sink, this Max Bill, and the story of its eponymous designer had attracted me. Today, it no longer really corresponds to my tastes with its very large dial opening and the total absence of a bezel. However, I must recognize its qualities of elegance, simplicity and extreme readability with its perfectly aligned hands and indexes. Its robust and basic movement, a 2824-2 does the job but we will still regret this ghost date when you pull the crown. Be careful, a relatively fragile watch, a mineral glass that I damaged twice, and a crown (incredible) that remained in my hand when I pulled it very gently as usual.
