Le Jour Rally Monte-Carlo Owner Review : Sporty, elegant and beautiful

This watch from the Swiss brand Le Jour Rally Monte-Carlo (ref RMC-003) had been catching my eye for a while now, as I own another automatic Chronograph from the same brand, every time I went to their website to see the different models and colors available, I couldn't help but end up on the page of this Rally Monte-Carlo telling myself that one day it would be mine, and that day has arrived. What I immediately liked about this model was the shape of the case, with a little mix between the Nautilus and its lugs on the side, and the screwed crowns/pushers reminiscent of a Royal Oak chronograph (8 sides versus 6 however for the small difference). In short, the best of both worlds combined in 1 watch, with in addition a dial of the most beautiful effect and its horizontal lines as well as its perfectly readable day/date window. The indexes and hands are silver-colored and perfectly made, offering immediate and immediate readability of the time at first glance. The bracelet is just as sublime, very comfortable, robust and offers pleasant flexibility. The case back is transparent and reveals the Swiss Sellita SW500 movement nicely decorated with the Le Jour logo on the rotor. Its 40mm diameter is perfect for most wrists, and despite its 14.5mm thickness, it remains very easy to wear with any type of outfit, whether casual or more dressy. The distance from lug to lug is 48mm. I love wearing this watch every day, it offers a real presence on the wrist, but also knows how to be discreet. I think it is really elegant, it has become one of my favorite pieces in my collection.
