Very sentimental watch: it was the only watch of my father, who died in 1996. I found this watch last year, while tidying up, on Father's Day... A lot of emotions! In short, just a battery change (ETA quartz movement with date) and a new khaki strap. The small diameter (36mm) allows you to wear the CAMEL Trophy plate without overloading the whole thing. The date is read in an original way with a "comet" (as I call it) that takes 31 days to go around the dial.

Revived after 27 years

An inspiring, timeless and dreamy watch. The domed hesalite finishes the flying saucer look on the wrist and reminds us that sapphire is not the best material for NASA! Perfect readability thanks to the contrast of the white hands/indexes and black dial. Pure happiness!

Space conquest on the wrist

A strong 'Spirit' spirit, an efficient GMT function, a vintage look, a 42mm diameter consistent with a readable aviator's watch...what more could you ask for? The ceramic bezel in a magnificent English green goes wonderfully with the cognac leather strap with micro-adjustable folding clasp. As usual, Longines does not disappoint!

A GMT with the DNA of aviation pioneers

A delightfully vintage "Tool-watch" that assumes its diver side with its 41mm diameter. It can also be dressed up with a black leather strap but can also prove to be a vibrant homage to the "007" of 1964 with the ad-hoc semi-NATO. The black bezel highlighted by the subtle red triangle makes it timeless and insensitive to fashion effects.

Heiress of the "Snow-flakes" diver

Fabulous quality of execution. Very harmonious and balanced watch. The moon phase is hypnotic without sacrificing the readability of the whole. The iridescent blue of the dial forms a deep setting for this detailed moon. The transparent back allows you to admire the exceptional finish of the caliber and the oscillating weight.

This magnificent Longines Spirit Zulu time was my first truly beautiful automatic watch. I had to wait until I was forty to buy it. It brought together everything I was looking for. A real GMT, a quality caliber, a watchmaking history, an aesthetic love at first sight. Longines is a brand that speaks to me, because I have a namesake ancestor who was an aviation pioneer and who used on-board instruments from this magnificent Swiss brand. It was therefore natural that I would turn to a watch with the characteristics of pilot watches with a little retro side. Then, the aesthetics of the dial, the green ceramic bezel, and this magnificent 42mm case completely captivated me. I love the combination of colors, materials and textures on this jewel. The finishes and quality are also incredible, not to mention its precision. Indeed, the CoSC certification is largely overlooked by my favorite timepiece. This watch is simply magical.

I had been looking for a GMT watch for some time, and I fell in love with the green bezel version immediately. I contacted my AD the day of the announcement, and he had a model available. That same evening it was on my wrist. 

What I immediately liked: the deliberately vintage style, the golden indexes and hands that give it some pep, the symmetry with the date window at 6 o'clock. Love at first sight confirmed once I had the watch in my hands: an excellent impression of quality (the twisted crown is fixed as a rock when you handle it), the dial is teeming with details (golden ring around the minute track, luminescent diamonds dug into the dial, raised dial), a top-notch finish. 

In short, this Zulu Time is a real steal.

Retro, sober and rich in details

Love at first sight when I saw this little Spirit in 39 mm, and I really loved this steel & gold version that I finally bought.

This GMT pilot is super original and remains very understated despite the presence of gold on the bezel, crown, hands, indexes, and the beautiful hooping at the base of the flange.

Initially on a steel bracelet with excellent finishes, I like to wear it on this black nato that only lets the attributes and finishes of the watch stand out. The balance between the gold, steel, anthracite dial, and chocolate bezel is incredible.

This beauty is powered by the COSC-certified L844.4 4-hand GMT movement.
